The Feather Blade has S$5 steaks & highballs for their 5th birthday — one day only!
In the blink of an eye, popular steak specialist The Feather Blade is celebrating its fifth anniversary.
Some would remember when it first opened in 2019, the brand first started as a pop-up at Ann Siang Hill.
It opened with a bang, drawing in an insane crowd with a mouth-watering free steak deal.
A month later, The Feather Blade then materialised as a permanent restaurant at the same spot, before eventually moving to a swankier spot at Tanjong Pagar.
It has since opened a second Feather Blade at East Coast Road in 2023, which also boasts an exclusive range of seafood dishes.
Besides the flagship steak concept, the brand also built up a whole portfolio of popular contemporary culinary concepts — now known as the Proper Concepts umbrella.
That includes some beloved dining spots including modern handroll specialist Rappu and vibey Mexican date-spot Ms. Maria & Mr. Singh.
Signature Feather Blade steak
To mark the occasion, loyal fans will be able to enjoy the signature Feather Blade steak at S$5.
So mark your calendars for Mar 18, steak lovers and prepare to queue!
S$5 steaks and S$5 highballs will be available at its Tanjong Pagar (6pm to 10pm) and East Coast (5.30pm to 10pm) outlets, available for dinner walk-ins only.
Do note that each guest will only be entitled to one redemption.
If you’re unfamiliar with what makes the steaks at Feather Blade so popular, the brand is known for top-quality steak at affordable prices.
It serves up succulent steaks made with the “feather blade” or “flat-iron” cut, popularised by London’s world-famous steakhouse, Flat Iron.
Originally seen as an off-cut not suited for steak, it eventually came to be loved for its leaner, but luscious texture and sometimes compared to the more classic tenderloin cut.
Hashida collaboration
Besides the S$5 deal, The Feather Blade will also be joining forces with esteemed chef Kenjiro “Hatch” Hashida from Michelin-recommended Japanese omakase restaurant, Hashida Singapore.
The collaboration sees Hatch coming up with two limited-time dishes that will be available throughout March. Each Feather Blade outlet will have its own exclusive.
The ebi katsu burger (S$34), which features a golden-fried ebi (prawn) patty embraced between plush burger buns, is exclusive to the Tanjong Pagar outlet.
On the other hand, East Coast will be welcoming the ebi katsu sando (S$34), which will be presented between soft sando buns.
Both of them will be loaded up with Hashida’s golden egg tartare sauce, shiso leaves, takuan (pickled daikon), Japanese mayo, and crisp lettuce.
