Grab a friend and get free ice cream at Raffles Place, with love from HungryGoWhere
We’re not sure if you remember, but one of our favourite moments this year was when we gave out free ice cream to our readers in the CBD, during our first birthday celebration!
Just to recap, in June, we marked the first anniversary of the newly relaunched HungryGoWhere with a slew of events that show our appreciation to readers. This included a giveaway with prizes such as a luxurious steak dinner, exclusive deals and free ice-cream sandwiches — with no strings attached.
Over the course of two days, we commandeered an old-school ice-cream cart in the CBD and handed out hundreds of free ice-cream sandwiches to our readers. A perfect reprieve in the sweltering heat.
As we wind down for the year, we’ve decided to bring out the ‘ol ice-cream cart once again. Because what’s a festive period without free treats?
This time, we’ve teamed up with GrabFood Dine-in to give out free ice cream for two people on four different days at the end of November.
Specifically, there will be free ice cream on the last two Wednesdays and Thursdays of the month — Nov 22, 23, 29 and 30.
You can find the HungryGoWhere x GrabFood Dine-in ice-cream cart conveniently parked at Raffles Green, in the heart of the CBD, from 11am to 6pm (or till sold out).
Here’s what you have to do to redeem your free ice cream for two from the ice-cream cart:
- Bring a friend
- Show us that you’ve both followed HungryGoWhere on Instagram
- Scan a QR code on your Grab app to redeem a voucher that’s available in the Dine-in section

You’ll be able to choose between five flavours — chocolate, ripple, mint chocolate chip, durian and vanilla — and you can have them in a cup, rainbow bread or wafer form.
Do note, however, that there will only be 1,000 servings available each day. So go down early to avoid disappointment.
