K-burger and chicken concept Mom’s Touch returns to Singapore with local exclusives

Sarah Chua | August 12, 2026

Popular Korean fast-food concept Mom’s Touch is back in Singapore after four years, this time with local exclusives, and a longer-term plan for more outlets around the island.

Following an abrupt exit back in 2022 — which saw three outlets, operated then by No Signboard Holdings’ subsidiary Hawker QSR, shutter — Mom’s Touch is set to open at 181 South Bridge Road on August 14, within the 18 Cross Street development.

The spot was most recently occupied by homegrown Japanese concept Tanuki Raw, which closed its CBD outlet at the end of 2025.

Mom’s Touch is back on local soil through a master franchise agreement with Fairprice Group, and has plans to open over 25 stores in Singapore in the next decade, with another two slated for 2026 alone.

Frequent travellers to Korea would have likely come across the brand, if not dined there, as it has built a footprint of 1,400 outlets in the country, after it was founded in 2004.

Outside of Korea, Mom’s Touch has a presence in countries such as Japan, Mongolia, and Laos. HungryGoWhere understands that Fairprice Group holds the master franchise rights for Mom’s Touch in Singapore and Thailand.

HungryGoWhere also understands the brand is currently working towards attaining a halal certification.

What’s on Mom’s Touch Singapore’s menu

Besides bringing its signature chicken thigh burger and fried chicken here, Mom’s Touch is launching three new Singapore-only exclusives: the limited-time Super Thigh chicken burger (Singapore edition) at S$9.95, fish fillet burger (S$6.95), and angus beef burger (from S$12.95).

The first is a local take on Mom’s Touch’s popular Thigh burger, which features a hefty crispy chicken thigh. Instead of its signature sweet-tangy, creamy sauce, the Singapore edition comes with a more peppery sauce, with a tinge of tang.

The second local special is a white fish fillet burger, dressed with tartar and Mom’s Touch special burger sauce.

It bears noting that most of Mom’s Touch Korean outlets have shrimp burger as its pescatarian-friendly alternative. It’s the first time we’re seeing a fish variation, but it’s one we think will align with the local crowd who might enjoy the occasional Filet-O-Fish from McDonald’s.

Rounding up the Singapore exclusives is the angus beef burger (available in single and double patty versions), with Australian angus beef. The burger comes stacked with a fried egg, cheddar, onions, pickles, white garlic sauce, and steak sauce.

There are seven other burgers on its menu, but there were two standouts for us: the OG Mom’s Signature chicken burger (S$6.95), with a crispy chicken thigh — or chicken breast if you prefer a healthier alternative — and its signature sauce, and the All-in chicken burger (S$8.95), which comes with chicken ham and a fried egg, on top of a fried chicken patty.

And yes, all its chicken burgers except the Super Thigh come with a choice of thigh or breast, at no additional cost.

We also didn’t get to try the bulgogi beef burger (from S$6.95), which is one of its bestsellers in Korea, but if the tenderness of the grilled beef burger (from S$7.95) is anything to go by, we think the bulgogi version won’t be too far off in terms of taste.

While burgers take centrestage in its Singapore relaunch, its popular boneless fried chicken thigh (from S$9.95 for a five-piece original) still appears on the local menu, available in four different flavours, and as five- and 10-piece options.

There’s the original (served with a side of honey mustard), savoury-sweet soy garlic, sweet & spicy yang nyeom, and fiery cheesy Sichuan

All of Mom’s Touch’s food is cooked fresh, right down to being hand-battered to order, which means that the chicken we tried, from the burgers to the boneless bites, stayed crispy even after sitting around for a bit.

I recall Mom’s Touch’s chicken in Korea having a lighter, airier crunch to them, which I enjoyed more, but this could also be a matter of personal preference.

What we liked was how all of the chicken components were moist, though admittedly we only tried the thigh variations, not the breast ones. We’d be keen to see whether the latter holds up as well if we return.

All burgers and chicken can be upgraded to a set (extra S$2.50), which includes a side of Cajun fries, coleslaw, or corn, and a soft drink.

Each side is also available a la carte, with prices starting from S$1.95.

Notably, those looking to get their protein fix in a fuss-free manner, will also be glad to know that Mom’s Touch Singapore has a boneless chicken thigh with honey mustard (two pieces for S$4.95) and chicken tenders (from S$4.95 for three pieces) on its menu, too.

Given its opportune location in the heart of our CBD, it makes sense that Mom’s Touch also serves breakfast, from its opening time of 7am until 11am, with items such as a scrambled egg & cheese toast (S$3.95) and fried chicken thigh toast (S$4.95), among others.

Le Sserafim collectibles up for grabs

Those walking past Mom’s Touch’s Singapore outlet may have also noticed images of Korean girl group Le Sserafim in addition to the concept’s signature bright-yellow fittings.

The five-member group has been the brand’s global ambassadors since the end of 2024.

To celebrate the Singapore outlet’s opening, from August 14 to 19, diners can receive a Mom’s Touch and Le Sserafim selfie cut (or photos of the group) with every set meal upgrade. This is limited to the first 100 sets daily, while stocks last.

During this time, upgrading your items to a set will also cost just S$1, instead of the usual S$2.50.

While the selfie cuts will only be available till August 19, the S$1 promo will last until the end of August.

There’s also a complimentary photo booth experience (worth S$6) that diners can enjoy, with a minimum spend of S$10, subject to the first 100 redemptions a day. This seems to be a permanent installation, which could be a fun touch to your fast-food meal.

Whether you make it in time for the freebies and promotions, Mom’s Touch’s return to Singapore is worth a look if you’re a fan of fried chicken

Judging from the crowd of curious onlookers when we previewed its offerings, queues are likely once it opens this Thursday.

Our advice? Go early, visit at off-peak hours, or wait for one of its planned new outlets — with more than 25 stores targeted over the next decade, there should be plenty more opportunities to try it.

This was a hosted tasting.
