From June 21 to August 9, Meh’r is rolling out a free-flow satay buffet (S$58 per person) every Saturday evening from 7pm to 9pm. Diners can expect to enjoy unlimited skewers curated by the chef himself, with flavours such as chicken satay marinated overnight in a blend of spices like ginger, lemongrass and cumin.

It’s not just the classics. You can expect other tempting options such as tandoori lamb satay, served with sweetened yogurt, mint chutney and sweet tamarind chutney, and the Iberico babi pongteh.

Cafe Quenino at Artyzen Singapore turns local flavours on their head with playful yet elegant reimaginings. Through its six-month-long “The Heart of SG60” campaign, which began in May, the cafe spotlights homegrown culinary talent in themed monthly takeovers. Located a short walk from Sentosa’s Beach Station, Good Old Days is a halal-friendly gem that brings together classic Singaporean flavours with everyday affordability. This small-but-mighty food court has long been a favourite for families, beachgoers, and anyone looking to fuel up on the island.

In the lead-up to SG60, it has partnered with beloved local chef and culinary host Shahrizal Salleh (affectionately known as chef Bob) for a seven-month showcase of his latest creations. From May to December, sample chef Bob’s trio of exclusive local dishes, at very wallet-friendly prices.

There’s the nasi lemak goreng (S$12.80) wok-fried with crispy turmeric chicken and a sunny side up egg — a fragrant, fatty spin that redefines the traditional dish. You’ll also find ginger fish hor fun (S$10.80), and assam pedas pasta ($12.80). The pappardelle pasta comes tossed with prawns, Thai asparagus and a punchy assam pedas sauce. All of these are Singaporean comfort food, but reimagined with Chef Bob’s creative spark.

Officially crowned the world’s highest urban microbrewery by Guinness World Records, Level 33 is also known and loved by locals for its panoramic views over Marina Bay (and also a great spot for catching the fireworks on National Day).

As part of its SG60 promotion, the restaurant’s executive chef Jake Kowalewski teams up with award-winning pastry chef Janice Wong for an unforgettable collaboration on August 9 only. The SG60 National Day cacao experience (S$328 per person) is designed as an immersive culinary journey, featuring nine exciting dishes.

Highlights include chocolate-aged wagyu beef glazed in a chilli-soy cacao blend and spent grain pasta served in a laksa emulsion. You can expect chef Janice Wong’s signature edible art, too, such as chocolate bon bons in chendol and chilli padi flavours, and the whimsical chocolate water rock with beer sorbet and soy caramel.

From August 11 to 31, the chefs continue their collaboration in the form of the glorious King Island tenderloin (S$88) dish, aged in Janice Wong’s 70% Philippines dark chocolate. You can enjoy all of these with Level 33’s SG60-exclusive cacao sling (S$26 per glass), crafted with cacao nib-infused Brass Lion Singapore Gin. This signature cocktail is also part of the National Day cacao experience on August 9.

Swensen’s has long been a household name for family meals and nostalgic ice cream sundaes. And this National Day, the beloved brand is bringing something extra special to the table with new items at its all-you-can-eat concept, Swensen’s Unlimited.

Available at its outlets at Changi Airport T2, VivoCity and Geneo, this buffet experience from now till September 9, gets a patriotic upgrade with new dishes such as crispy roti puri, Hainanese kampong chicken, and mutton rendang pizza.

Enjoy the lunch buffet for just S$25 per person on weekdays, and S$50 per person on weekends. Dinner is priced from S$38 per person on weekdays and S$60 per person on weekends.

Not a fan of buffets but still want to visit? There are new additions to its a la carte menu (at all outlets), too. Look forward to crayfish noodle with chilli crab sauce (S$16.60), which combines chewy squid rings and rich eggy chilli crab gravy for that perfect local hit. If you’re craving heat, try the grilled sambal seabass (S$18.60).

Culinary finesse takes centre stage at Orchard hotel The Singapore Edition this SG60 with a beautifully crafted tribute to Singapore’s food heritage. From artisanal chocolate creations to Peranakan-inspired high tea sets, the hotel’s celebration is one of refined flavours and storytelling.

At the Lobby Bar, executive pastry chef Alex Chong presents SG60 Heritage Chocolate Art — hand-carved chocolate jars in traditional Peranakan hues, each holding within a trove of ganache truffles and crunchy nut textures that echo Singapore’s layered identity.

From August 1 to November 30, the hotel will also be launching the third volume of its afternoon tea series. Guests can choose between two themed sets: Shophouse Stories (S$60 per person) and Little Red Dot (S$88 per person), each paying homage to Singapore’s multicultural past and present.

The Shophouse Stories set includes savoury bites such as kaya honeycomb, burnt foie gras tart with rose and raspberry, and kueh pie tee with balik salmon and pickled shallots. The Little Red Dot set includes whatever is in the Shophouse Stories set, with additional dishes such as the pisang emas, an artisanal take on local goreng pisang.

Available Wednesdays through Sundays, these tea sessions are equal parts indulgence and tribute — making it the perfect place to celebrate SG60 in style.
