McDonald’s ups the crunch with new McCrispy Burger, crinkle-cut fries and 36,000 free burgers
Many Singaporeans swear by the McSpicy as the best chicken burger — but that might change, with McDonald’s upcoming McCrispy burger (from S$8.40)!
That’s right, the beloved fast-food chain is amping the crunch in its chicken burgers by swapping out the patty for one made with the popular McCrispy recipe.

This limited-time special features a crispy chicken thigh patty, which is topped with rich, smoky sauce and finished with atas fluffy potato buns — a step-up from the usual sesame seed-studded buns.
McDonald’s says the McCrispy burger will give more crunch, so brace your eardrums for it!
The McCrispy burger will be available at all McDonald’s, from September 4 at lunch — so remember to mark your calendars.
To celebrate the launch, McDonald’s will also be giving out a whopping 36,000 burgers, for free!
Fans can head down to any participating McDonald’s outlet to earn themselves a free McCrispy burger, along with a voucher for 20% off their next McCrispy meal.
Head down early, since there will only be 250 redemptions per store, on a first come first served basis.

McDonald’s is also introducing an all-new crinkle-cut fries (from S$4.15 a la carte, or S$1 extra for a meal upgrade) and the zesty, Sprite-based yuzu McFizz (from S$3.65).
The former sports a savoury onion cheese seasoning — sounds interesting right?
There’s also a limited-time ice-cream special for dessert fans to go bananas over: The banana soft-serve (from S$1.30). This is also available in sundae or McFlurry form!

To cap it off, there will also be two sweet treats available at McDonald’s from September 18 onwards, two weeks after the McCrispy burger is launched.
One is the yuan yang latte (from S$3) that blends Arabica coffee and tea, and the other is the McPops (six pieces from S$3), which are adorable, bite-sized donut pockets piped full of either choco-hazelnut or fruit berry filling.
Sounds like a pretty exciting September is coming to McDonald’s — one that will satisfy both fried chicken lovers and dessert fanatics alike!
