Paradise Group launches new, affordable concept LeMa Dumpling at Jewel Changi
Jewel Changi’s dining offerings just got a delicious boost with the arrival of LeMa Dumpling, a brand-new concept by Paradise Group — the homegrown brand behind favourites such as Beauty In The Pot and Canton Paradise.
It centres around freshly made, Taiwanese-style dumplings that are priced affordably between S$3.95 and S$5.45 for five pieces (with a minimum order of two portions).

These handcrafted morsels — available in both poached and pan-fried versions — boast a bigger size of 28g. By comparison, most other dumplings on the market hover around 15g to 22g.
Besides dumplings, the eatery serves up a spread of Taiwanese staples, such as noodles, egg fried rice, soups, and small sides.

You can also help yourself to complimentary free-flow water chestnut and soya bean drinks, alongside dipping sauces to go with your dumplings.
If Jewel Changi is a tad out of your way though, fret not — Paradise Group plans to expand LeMa Dumpling to a total of 20 outlets, with five to be up and running by the end of this year.
Nothing beats a quick comfort food fix

Out of all the variations we had, the standout was the pan-fried pork and chives dumpling (S$4.45 for five).
Wrapped in a pleasantly chewy skin that is pan-fried to golden crisp, the filling within remains juicy and slightly sweet. Fortunately, these dumplings are not overly oily, making them so easy to polish off.
The pan-fried prawn and chives dumpling (S$5.45 for five) is equally satisfying, with a generous meaty core.
As a chives lover, I would have liked a bit more greens to complement the savoury filling — but hey, preferences may vary.

If you’re looking for a lighter option, the poached pork and corn dumplings (S$3.95 for five) offer a wholesome bite, featuring naturally sweet pork and corn in each tender morsel.
Besides these, you can also get fillings such as pork and cabbage (S$3.95), prawn and cabbage (S$4.95), and prawn and corn (S$4.95).

If you’re feeling a more carb-forward meal, the “dan dan” noodle (S$5.90) is a very solid pick.
The springy noodles have a great chew, while the broth — despite its fiery hue — surprises with a mild, nutty depth that makes it more shiok than spicy.
It’s reminiscent of Taiwan’s Xiao Hun Mian (also known as Spicy Noodle) at Raffles City, albeit with a gentler, well-balanced kick that even cautious spicy eaters (like me) can enjoy.

The shrimp egg fried rice (S$8.50) is another comforting go-to — simple, satisfying, and packed with familiar flavours.
So if you find yourself leaving or arriving in Singapore and you’re knacking for something hearty, LeMa Dumpling at Jewel Changi is the perfect spot for a wallet-friendly fix!
