KFC launches new chicken burger menu at limited-time pop-up event, happening at PLQ Mall from Apr 26 to 28

Good news for chicken fanatics: KFC has unveiled an enticing new range of chicken burgers! 

Taking centre stage is the moreish Extra Tasty Crispy burger (from S$7.45, also known as the ETC burger) and spicy smokey hot Zinger burger (from S$7.95). 

Be first in line to savour the mouthwatering burgers at KFC’s bustling Paya Lebar outlet, which will play host to an immersive, three-day pop-up concept featuring its all-new burger lineup. 

Titled the “Ultimate Burger Takeover”, the pop-up experience will run throughout the weekend from Apr 26 to 28. 

The chicken burgers are available exclusively at KFC’s Paya Lebar store during the event, but will be available at all outlets islandwide, come Apr 29.

At the event, it’s not just loaded chicken burgers that you will be getting your hands on. The pop-up is also primed with photo-worthy installations and interactive game stations where you stand a chance to win limited-edition KFC merchandise.

An all-new chicken burger menu 

Headlining the new chicken burger menu is KFC’s latest ETC burger, which features a juicy and tender chicken fillet marinated with a unique recipe.  

It’s then freshly breaded in-store daily before it’s deep-fried, resulting in a crispy, tender chicken fillet that oozes flavour with each bite. 

We gave it a taste test and this new burger rendition is — hands down — tastier than its other counterparts. 

Not only is the fillet sizable and worth every penny — the burger is also packed with a variety of ingredients, such as sweet, crunchy pickles and crisp lettuce. It’s then smothered in an addictive secret sauce, with two buttery brioche buns to complete the burger.

Voracious eaters can opt for the ETC Stacker (S$8.30 a la carte), which comes in a chunkier, upsized version of the ETC burger — you’ll be treated to two hearty fillets instead of one. 

The brand new smokey hot Zinger burger is also another head-turner. For us, it certainly “ate and left no crumbs” — it’s savoury, spicy and sweet all at once, coming together in a symphony of flavours in our mouths. 

This may very well be our go-to order at KFC from now onwards, thanks to the smorgasbord of toppings the burger comes with. Besides its signature Zinger fillet, there is also a strip of smoky chicken bacon, cheddar cheese and zesty pickles to chow on. 

But the kicker is its harmonious combination of KFC’s secret sauce and a fiery dressing — the latter of which adds a tantalising layer of spice and oomph to the burger. 

The KFC Shots with cheese dip (S$6.95 a la carte for five pieces) is assuredly a treat that the little ones will love — it’s a cheesy, bite-sized popcorn chicken dish that they can easily munch on the go. 

Be liberal with the velvety cheese sauce and coat the chicken chunks in the gravy for a rich and tangy pizzaz. 

The snack will be available at all KFC outlets from Apr 29.
