New limited-time releases from the Golden Arches always drum up a lot of hype but this time, the new yakiniku burger from McDonald’s is a bit more special — you can also get it from a vending machine.

Available from Apr 25 onwards, the newest burger is a Japanese-inspired creation that comes packed with the satisfying flavours of Japanese-style yakiniku.

To make the yakiniku burgers (from S$7.90 for a la carte and from S$8.90 for an Extra Value meal), McDonald’s throws together shredded white cabbage, caramelised onions and yakiniku sauce, and sandwiches the patty between two fluffy semolina buns.

It comes in two options: Either a crispy fried chicken or quarter-pounder beef patty.

And remember the part about the vending machine? The yakiniku burger vending machine is already live at Plaza Singapura Level 1 Atrium, one day before the burger hits the outlets.

The vending machine will be available from 12pm to 1pm and 6pm to 7pm today, while stocks last.

In addition to the yakiniku burger, McDonald’s is also rolling out a few other limited-time specials.

In the savoury department, diners will be able to get their hands on the returning potato wedges (from S$4.70).

If you’re a huge fan of desserts, the purple sweet potato ice cream (from S$1.20) and taro custard pies (from S$1.80) will definitely be right up your alley.

The latter comes with velvety taro custard encased in the fast-food brand’s signature flaky pie crust, while the former is a vibrant soft-serve that is available in both cone, McFlurry or hot fudge sundae options.

Anyone in the mood for chocolatey indulgence can also get themselves an order of the rich double chocolate frappé drink (from S$4.20).

If you’re tempted by the new McDonald’s yakiniku burger or any of the other limited-time specials, they will be available at all outlets for dine-in and takeaway, as well as on delivery platforms!
