Looking for a fun date spot with a quirky look? Italian restaurant Il Clay Supper Club might just be what you need to dazzle bae.
To start off, the restaurant is run by chef Ciro Sorrentino, a Naples native who is also behind Margheri, a restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City that was recognised on the 50 Top Pizzas list within the Asia-Pacific region in 2024.

Besides the pedigree behind the stove, Il Clay Supper Club sets itself apart with its eye-catching entrance, too. The Clarke Quay restaurant is actually hidden behind a pair of “oven” doors.
You know what that means: Something is cooking in there.
Once you bust open the oven doors, you’ll be greeted with a chic space filled with vibrantly coloured lights and even comes with a DJ booth — it’ll make for a fun Friday night out, filled with sinful pizza and decadent beats.
Smaller pizzas means you can eat more

Another interesting thing about the pizza at Il Clay Supper Club is that you can opt for a smaller size, if you don’t want to allocate all your stomach space to just one pizza.
Rather than just the usual six-slice portion, the restaurant now also offers a new petite four-slice option, priced from S$18.
If you’re a crust lover, though, you might want to snag a bigger one for a better dough-to-topping ratio — the chewy dough is painstakingly proofed for 48 hours.

As for which flavour to go for, we’d recommend anyone who’s a sucker for cheese to get the six cheese and honey (from S$37).
It is laden with cheese such as mascarpone, mozzarella, fior di latte, smoked provolone, pecorino, parmesan, and a housemade gorgonzola mousse, then finished with a dose of aromatic truffle honey.
For something hearty, but less cheesy, the Sofia Loren (from S$30) is another interesting choice, featuring ricotta-stuffed crust and anchovies — this is more for people who can appreciate the potent umami of anchovies.

Besides these, there’s also the very distinctive Six Stars (from S$28), an original creation by chef Ciro from a past restaurant that he’d brought over to Il Clay Supper Club.
It features sharp cone-like corners that form a six-pointed star (or four-pointed, for the petite version), each packed with cheese, mortadella ham and tangy tomato sauce.
The flavours may be classic, but the presentation is so unique!
S$38 set lunches
![Who doesn’t love burrata? Photo: Evan Mua/HungryGoWhere il clay supper club](https://hungrygowhere.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/04-ev-il-clay-supper-club-pizza-hungrygowhere.jpg)
Pizza is the star at Il Clay Supper Club, but it’s not just all about it. There is also a good spread of small plates to go with it.
A good one to start the meal would be the burrata tomato agrodolce (S$22), where the creamy burrata is surrounded by a slew of piquant, sun-ripened whole roma tomatoes that come from Italy.

Another solid choice would be the 100 Layers lasagna (S$32), a newly introduced item on Il Clay Supper Club’s menu that’s drenched in a rich beef bolognese sauce.
Those who work in the area can also head over for a reasonably priced lunch between 12pm to 2.30pm — Il Clay Supper Club offers a daily executive set lunch at S$38 for two-courses and S$45 for three.

Starters include roasted pork belly and bacon-wrapped Japanese scallops skewers, while mains include a 150g blackened striploin steak and gnocchi.
Pizza isn’t an option for these courses at lunch, but those who order an additional pizza on top of their set lunch from Monday to Friday are also given S$10 off a full-sized pizza or S$5 off a four-sliced pizza!
Overall, we think Il Clay Supper Club is probably one of the more promising options, if you ever find yourself in Clarke Quay — be it for the lunch set, the pizza, or just to have a fun night out!
