Wine Connection Cuppage launches S$34.90 weekend brunch, with free-flow wine for S$29.90
Cuppage Terrace, tucked just off the main stretch of Orchard Road, is better known as a night-time haunt. Its row of shophouses and al fresco tables are where many office workers end their days with a cold beer in hand.

Now, Wine Connection Bistro at Cuppage Terrace is giving diners a reason to head to the strip before the sun goes down.
It now serves a new weekend brunch at S$34.90, every Saturday and Sunday from 11.30am to 3pm. Each set comes with two brunch courses, with unlimited servings of starters and desserts.
The unlimited starters
The brunch opens with four appetisers, which you can order as many times as you like.
There is the blistered heirloom tomato tartine, warm kale and hazelnut salad, grilled cauliflower with mint yoghurt, and chickpea hummus with lemon rye bread and baguette.

The tomato tartine was our top pick. The heirloom tomatoes were fresh and burst with sweetness, with pesto, olives, and burrata on sourdough rounding out the bright, herbaceous bite.
The chickpea hummus with lemon rye bread and baguette also hit the spot. It’s light, with a gentle tang, and the olives on top cut through the creaminess and lifted the whole dish. We swiped it up with the rye and baguette that were toasted in fragrant olive oil.
The mains

After the starters, each diner gets one serving of the second course — duck rillettes & brie on sourdough. The slow-cooked duck is juicy and rich, without any gaminess, while the brie, honey, and pear lend a gentle sweetness. It’s a rich, indulgent start that sets the stage nicely for the mains — no wonder it’s a crowd favourite.
Then, pick one main per person from four options. The pesto orecchiette offers ear-shaped pasta tossed in basil pesto, while the chicken parmigiana and fries layers tomato sauce and melted cheese atop a crumbed chicken cutlet.

We picked the grilled black angus sirloin steak and fries, which requires a S$5 top-up, but is well worth the top-up. Even after resting on the table for a while, the sirloin stayed soft and juicy under a good sear. The fries, too, impressed us — crisp throughout, with a moreish, savoury edge.

For something lighter, the white perch en papillote is one we would order again. En papillote is French for “in paper”, referring to the sealed parchment parcel that lets the fish steam in its own juices.
Celery and onion lend the perch a gentle sweetness and umami depth, while the acidity of the lemon brightens up the fish with a pleasant tang. It makes a clean, protein-packed pick to refuel after a weekend Pilates or yoga class.
There’s always room for unlimited desserts!
Three dessert options close out the brunch: French toast with fig mascarpone, classic vanilla creme brulee, and cinnamon churros with chocolate sauce.

Don’t skip the churros. Served piping hot, they’re all about texture, with a crunchy shell giving way to a light, fluffy centre. Compared to most versions we’ve had, these are noticeably more spice-forward, thanks to a generous dusting of cinnamon sugar. A dip in the rich dark chocolate sauce brings it all together for the perfect sweet finish.
Free-flow wine for S$29.90? Wine not?

Yes, you heard it right. For an extra S$29.90 per person, you get two hours of free-flow Prosecco, along with house white and red wines. Do note that the housepours are dependent on availability and may vary.
During our visit, the lineup featured Borgo del Col Alto prosecco (a sparkling white wine), Rare Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc 2025 (a white), and Rare Vineyards Cabernet Syrah (a red).
The first two were our favourites — both were smooth and easy-drinking, and paired well with every dish we tried, while the red is there for those who prefer something bolder.
Whether you’re catching up with friends or easing into the weekend after a morning workout, this brunch gives Cuppage Terrace a whole new daytime appeal. Come hungry, stay for the wine, and whatever you do, save room for the desserts.
This was a hosted tasting.
