McDonald’s launching all-new cheesy jalapeno burgers and truffle cheese shaker fries

Evan Mua | November 27, 2025

After a mouth-watering year of big releases — including the sensational curry McNuggetsMcDonald’s isn’t resting on its laurels and still launching new items well into the final month of 2025!

Looking to end the year with aplomb, the beloved fast food chain will be spicing things up with an all-new limited-time burger.

No, like, things are being spiced up, literally.

McDonald’s Singapore will be releasing two cheesy jalapeno burgers (from S$9.50 for an extra value meal) on Dec 1, 11am onwards.

Fans will get to indulge in the limited-time release either in the form of a cheesy jalapeno quarter pounder or cheesy jalapeno chicken burger.

Each burger will feature crispy bacon and gooey jalapeno cheese sauce on top of the patty. It’s supposed to be tangy with a touch of enlivening heat!

On top of the burgers, McDonald’s is also shaking things up with an all-new shaker fries flavour — the truffle cheese McShaker fries (upgrade for S$1.25).

And, if that fragrant cheese and truffle combo isn’t enough, there’s a new-ish dipping sauce, too, for more flavour all around.

McDonald’s legendary tartar sauce (S$0.50 per tub), which you would’ve tasted in its Filet-o-fish, will be released in tub form for some dipping action. It will also be available as an option with your McNuggets or fish McNuggets

Of course, festivities are all about having sweet time with loved ones, so McDonald’s is also adding two limited-time desserts to the roster.

For chocolate lovers, there’s the cookies & cream pie (from S$1.80) with Oreo crumbs, while fruity dessert enthusiasts can get themselves a tart and tropical mango x pineapple cone (from S$1.80)!

You thought that’s all? No way, Jose.

McDonald’s is also giving us adorable merch in the form of blind boxes — also available from Dec 1 onwards — available with every purchase of a meal (excluding happy meal) with a $7.90 pop-up.

The blind boxes contain cute McDonald’s themed pocket pouches, with four designs: Grimace, Hamburglar, Birdie, and a Special (in the form of a packet of french fries).

What a way to end the year, eh? Remember to pop by a McDonald’s for some of the limited-time items, and get yourself a cute pocket pouch while at it!
