TikTok-viral Creamie Sippies opens at Jewel Changi, with all-new nitro lattes & locally inspired drinks
With matcha cafes popping up everywhere in Singapore, most spots tend to play it safe with classic, familiar pairings.
But dessert-inspired matcha? It’s a welcome twist.
Set to open tomorrow (January 23), Creamie Sippies at Jewel Changi Airport offers an extensive range of bold, unconventional creations.
This marks the homegrown brand’s third outlet, following its debut at Jalan Bukit Merah last year and a second opening at Keong Saik, which even features a full-on matcha mill (a traditional Japanese stone grinder).

Already curious about what makes this outlet different?
We had an advance preview of the new spot and its offerings, which includes an all-new locally inspired matcha-C peng, gula melaka hojicha latte, as well as Creamie Sippies’ beloved signatures.

If you’re new to the brand, it first shot to Internet fame for packing 8g of matcha powder in all of its green-tea offerings and iced drinks — with a pretty sizable 500ml in each cup. By comparison, most matcha cafes use just 2g to 4g in a standard serving.
In this economy?! Heck yeah!
Its maiden Jalan Bukit Merah space also quickly pervaded For You feeds with its all-pink, adorable hole-in-the-wall setup.

For founders Flora Cheong, 32, and Marilyn Mong, 35, Creamie Sippies embodies their deep love for all things sweet.
That enthusiasm shines through in the details — for example, all of the cafe’s syrups and purees are made in-house.
It’s also what drives Creamie Sippies’ one-of-a-kind creations, from the signature ultra Creamie vanilla latte (S$9.90), to the Banana Bread latte (S$9.90), and even the once-seasonal, now-permanent blueberry white chocolate matcha latte (S$9.90).
At the new Jewel Changi outlet — a high-traffic spot frequented by both tourists and locals — the duo set out to reimagine some of Singapore’s beloved desserts into beverage form.
Clearly, experimentation is part of their DNA, so you can look forward to a brand-new nitrogen-infused series, plus outlet-exclusive creations, at this location!
What’s new at the Jewel Changi outlet

One of Creamie Sippies’ Jewel Changi-only offerings is the matcha-C peng (S$9.90) — an intriguing take on the local teh-C peng (iced tea with evaporated milk), but with matcha in place of tea.
True enough, Creamie Sippies’ version marries that familiar creaminess with its signature bold matcha blend, resulting in a cup that feels both nostalgic and indulgent.
Still can’t quite imagine it? Picture a matcha latte with extra depth and finished with a pleasant, lingering toasty note. It’s surprisingly moreish, too, and you’ll somehow keep circling back for more.

Next is the outlet-exclusive Love Letter dalgona latte (S$11.50), inspired by the traditional Nanyang snack.
It brings together a housemade pandan syrup, coconut milk, topped with a cloud of whipped coffee and a buttery biscuit.
Be warned that this one leans sweet — and very much so. That said, credit goes to Creamie Sippies for staying true to the spirit of the OG snack — this rendition’s pandan and coconut notes shine through easily.
This lineup also includes the gula melaka hojicha latte (S$10.50) that combines roasted green tea, coconut milk, and a gula melaka-infused foam.

Also making its first-ever appearance on Creamie Sippies’ menu is the nitro series, featuring the Tenrei nitro matcha latte (S$14.90) — a nitrogen-infused creation crafted with an award-winning matcha blend from Kyoto.
Interestingly, this one stands out with a very, very earthy and ultra-creamy feel. It’s almost like a supercharged, unsweetened matcha latte.
Its boldness will hit hard at first, but gradually softens and mellows as you sip on — something we quite enjoyed.

Another variation is the salted butterscotch nitro latte (S$14.90), said to evoke the flavours of Butterbeer — the famed drink from the Harry Potter book and film franchise — albeit with a caffeinated kick.
When I tried it, my first thought was: “Wow, it’s really sweet and caramelly!”
The texture is delightfully smooth, but the sweetness can be quite intense, and you might be hard-pressed to finish this one solo — so we’d recommend sharing it with a friend or two!

That’s not all: The Jewel Changi outlet even serves up a tempting array of housemade savoury pies and sweet treats, such as the dulce de leche banoffee pie (S$13.90).
We had to try the Hainanese Chix pie (S$15.90) — yes, pun intended — Creamie Sippies’ cheeky nod to the classic chicken rice.
Unlike most pies with a firm, layered outer shell, this one is much lighter. Its chicken-and-mixed-veggies filling is also intentionally kept soupy and moist, while still packing all the comforting flavours you’d expect.
Creamie Sippies’ crowd-fave signatures

If tried-and-tested combinations are more of your speed, Creamie Sippies has a few up its sleeve.
Besides the popular strawberry matcha latte (S$9.90), don’t sleep on the banana pudding matcha latte (S$9.90) — we loved it. Velvety, just-nice sweet, and dangerously addictive, it’s everything we looked for in a cup.
Here’s a pro tip as well: Give the entire drink a good mix to ensure everything is incorporated and well-balanced.
To celebrate the cafe’s opening at Jewel Changi Airport, the first 10 customers can enjoy a free canned nitro latte, with a choice of the matcha or salted butterscotch latte — this runs from January 23 to February 15.
Whether you’re after a regular caffeine fix or craving something a little out of the ordinary, Creamie Sippies gives you plenty of reasons to stop by, while you’re at Jewel Changi Airport!
