Bochinche’s Saturday S$55 unlimited steak promo gets an upgrade

Shannon Ong | September 26, 2025

In this economy, we’re always on the look out for the most bang for our buck, and sometimes unlimited, all-you-can-eat deals are the way to go.

Enter Bochinche — a modern Argentinian cocina serving up contemporary Argentinian dishes, steaks, wines, and cocktails. On Saturdays and public holidays, the restaurant rolls out its free-flow steak menu from just S$55, with a 90-minute dining limit, from 11.30am to 3pm.

The promotion itself isn’t new, though. Checks by HungryGoWhere show that a slightly different version of the free-flow deal used to run at S$70 and with less choice in the cuts served.

This time round though, the deal begins at a lower price and now extends to sirloin cuts — an upgrade, in our books! (Drinks are no longer included, though.)

If you, like me, enjoy a good steak, you’d know it’s not something we get to indulge in often. On average, a pretty decent steak in Singapore costs around S$20 to 30 at casual eateries, while premium steakhouses can easily charge S$50 and up for a single cut.

When we visited in early August, just two weeks into the promotion, Bochinche had already seen an impressive record — one guest managed to polish off ten steaks in 90 minutes.

While we weren’t quite as ambitious, we couldn’t resist giving it a shot. We each managed three steaks — and enjoyed every bite of it.

Irresistible cuts

Its unlimited steak menu now includes two options: The signature Argentinian “Frisma” ribeye — a 200g cut of British angus — and the newly added signature Argentinian “Frisma” sirloin, also served as a 200g portion.

The ribeye was the highlight — chewy in the best way, with juicy tenderness. The fatty parts melted beautifully, adding bursts of rich flavour that made every bite satisfying. Served at our choice of medium-rare, it was succulent and full of that bold, beefy flavour that had us going “mmmmm” instantly.

Similarly, the sirloin was equally satisfying. As the new addition to Bochinche’s free-flow steak menu, it offered a nice contrast. While not as fatty as the ribeye, this cut was still tender, juicy, and flavourful — a solid choice for those who prefer a leaner bite, without losing out on taste.

If you’re a fan of wagyu or simply want to try something else, you can top up S$10 to enjoy “Robbins Island” wagyu inside skirt (yes, at unlimited portions, too). Served perfectly charcoal-grilled, the wagyu carried bold, smoky notes with rich marbling all the way through, and deep, indulgent flavours.

It leaned a little strong and heavy on the palate, so we’d recommend saving it for after you’ve had your fill of ribeye and sirloin. Alternatively, pairing it with a glass of red wine works beautifully to balance out its richness.

Additionally, there are free-flow sides available from S$8 each, including a refreshing mixed green salad with balsamic dressing and the Provencal fries

At first glance, the fries may look rather ordinary, but don’t be fooled — it turned out to be surprisingly flavourful and easily the highlight of all the sides. Prepared 48 hours in advance, each batch carries an addictively garlicky punch that kept us reaching back for more. Trust us, we’d a 100% recommend adding these fries to your order.

To go with the steaks, we were served chimichurri sauce — a classic Argentinian green sauce with a slight citrusy kick. Fresh, tangy, and herbaceous, it cut through the richness of the meat and lifted its flavours.

Sweet treats

After going for a couple of rounds of steak, we were completely stuffed — but we simply couldn’t resist the desserts. We went for the espresso martini creme brulee (S$17), a silky custard infused with espresso and liqueur, topped with a scoop of caramelised banana ice cream that added just the right amount of sweetness.

We also tried the Catalan doughnuts (S$17), served as four fluffy, sugar-dusted balls alongside vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of dulce de leche, a rich caramelised milk syrup that tied it all together.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the free-flow steak menu. At just S$55, it initially sounded almost too good to be true. Often, free-flow promos mean that the quality takes a hit, and we were definitely managing our expectations on this one.

However, the steaks proved otherwise — well-prepared, flavourful, and satisfying. For the price point, it’s an experience that delivers both value and quality, making it well worth revisiting for a weekend indulgence.
