New menus to check out in Singapore in May 2025

Tired of the same old dishes at your go-to spots, or just need a reason to revisit your favourite restaurants? You’re in luck — we’ve rounded up some well-loved favourites that are shaking things up with refreshed menus and revamped classics.
In fact, some of these new menus are just as exciting as brand-new launches, if not even more so.
Whether you’re a loyal regular looking for something different or a curious first-timer, we’re sure you’d enjoy these new flavours.
Here’s a round-up of the latest menu refreshes worth checking out in May 2025:
1. Prego
Fairmont Singapore, Level 1, 80 Bras Basah Road
Open: Monday to Sunday (12pm to 2.30pm, 3pm to 10.30pm)

One of Singapore’s longest-standing Italian restaurants, Prego welcomes a fresh chapter with new head chef Davide Bizzari, who took over the kitchen in 2024, after the departure of its previous chef Mauro Sanna.
From the city of Pisa, Italy, chef Davide brings authentic Pisan and Tuscan flavours to Prego’s new menu. His latest menu refresh is heavily inspired by the warm, nostalgic flavours of his childhood in Italy, something that he hopes to share with the diners at Prego.
A couple of new highlights include the polpo e fagioli (S$38), which features plump octopus leg on a creamy bean stew, and the pasta dish gigli al pesto toscano (S$38), which is coated in chef Davide’s signature Tuscan-style kale pesto. There’s also the risotto pizzaiola (S$36), steeped in a rich tomato and oregano sauce, sure to please those who love tangy flavours.
The new menu is available a la carte across lunch and dinner, but if you prefer trying more items, you can opt for its set meals that start from S$42 per person, available for lunch and dinner, too.
2. Messy Munching
The Lobby Lounge, Intercontinental Singapore, Level 1, 80 Middle Rd
Open: Sunday to Thursday (9am to 11.30pm), Friday to Saturday (9am to 12am)

From now till June 30, The Lobby Lounge at InterContinental Singapore is breaking all the rules with its new Messy Munching menu, which encourages you to ditch the cutlery and dig in with your hands — because sometimes, food just tastes better that way, no matter how chaotic it may look.
A couple of new highlights include the Sloppy seafood Avalanche (S$59) — a generous assortment of snow crab, tiger prawn, crawfish, and more, in a tangy, mildly spiced tomato sauce. For something richer, try the gooey overloaded wagyu beef subs (S$48), a crusty baguette stuffed with wagyu meatball-capsicum stew, beef bolognese, tomato, lettuce, cheddar cheese sauce, and onion marmalade, served with a side of fries.
There’s also desserts, the chocolate chaos bombs (S$28), which features a decadent pile of choux puffs with Madagascar vanilla ice cream, topped with chocolate raclette, strawberries, almond flakes, and roasted pistachios.
Here’s the lowdown on the Messy Munching menu at The Lobby Lounge.
3. Mensho Tokyo
Raffles City Shopping Centre, 03-43, 252 North Bridge Road
Open: Monday to Sunday (11am to 9pm)

Acclaimed ramen specialist Mensho Tokyo has launched a brand-new menu, its first refresh since its much-anticipated opening at Raffles City Shopping Centre in July last year!
The world-renowned brand boasts multiple outlets worldwide, with the branch in San Francisco recognised in the city’s Michelin Guide — that’s how you can tell its ramen quality is exceptional.
It’s no wonder when Mensho Tokyo finally set up shop in Singapore, ramen lovers were pumped to savour its fare. And if you haven’t been back in awhile, perhaps you’ll be enticed to stop by soon, as the restaurant has recently revamped its menu with a slew of new creations!
A couple of new highlights include the sizzling hotate teppanyaki (S$12) and spicy toripaitan (S$23), a creamy, spice-laden variation of the signature toripaitan (S$28), that’s crowned with fiery chilli paste and spicy minced pork. The new menu is reason enough to revisit this spot if you’ve not been yet!
