Postboy Coffee: Chill minimalist cafe with white chocolate matcha latte & postcards to mail to your 2027 self
IG-worthy cafes open every other week in Singapore. However, this vibey new opening in Redhill is a bit different from the rest.
This is Postboy Coffee, a chill coffee spot snuggled deep within Enabling Village, an inclusive community space that empowers people of all physical and cognitive abilities, and features a myriad of tenants, including multiple F&B social enterprises.

Postboy Coffee can be found all the way inside, in the Vista wing, and feels like a great spot for chilling with friends, or for those WFH afternoons.
The cafe also features an art gallery, as well as an inclusive gift store with over 30 brands, including many independent creators.

Every inch of the design is intentional — the overall ambience is calming, which lets guests slow down and take a breather, while also avoiding overstimulation.
That’s why Postboy Coffee itself comes decked out in sleek, minimalist wooden panelling and shelves, and simply embellished with tasteful pops of dark cobalt.
It provides plenty of cosy couch seats, and an array of electric sockets to ensure you can stay locked in and productive at your laptop, for as long as you need.
But what makes Postboy Coffee so much more special is that, true to its name, you can post items out by mail!

There’s a postcard and mailbox section to the side of the cashier, where you can choose from an array of designs. Then, jot down things you wish to say.
It doesn’t have to be addressed to yourself — you can send it to friends and loved ones, too!

Once you’re done, you can purchase a stamp from the cashier (S$4 with any purchase, S$5 otherwise) and have Postboy Coffee mail the postcard to you next year, in the month of your choice.
Adorable, right?
Waffles and white chocolate matcha

Beyond the vibes and cute postcard shenanigans, Postboy Coffee’s menu also features interesting drink specials that might tempt you to visit.
One unique creation that jumps out at you is the matcha white chocolate (S$8).

Dessert and pastry lovers will no doubt understand the delightful potential of matcha and white chocolate, and we think Postboy Coffee delivers.
This matcha latte has that endearing matcha earthiness, but amps up the fragrance with the white chocolate, which in turn imbues the right amount of sweetness — it’s indulgent, but not overly sweet.
However, those who aren’t quite sold on it can still get their usual matcha latte (S$7) or matcha strawberry latte (S$8.50) fix!
As for the coffee options, we decided on a typical caffe latte (S$6) with ice (extra S$0.50) and oat milk (extra S$1), and Postboy Coffee’s signature lemon Cloud’s Drip (S$8.50).

The former is exactly what one wants from an iced oat white: It’s smooth, balanced, but with that fragrant roasted depth.
The perfect accomplice for an afternoon of “maximising shareholder value”, we’d say.
We would recommend the lemon Cloud’s Drip for those who prefer a thicker mouthfeel and a more refreshing profile, though.

This one comes topped with a deluge of plush, fluffy cream and finished with lemon zest — quite different from your usual lattes and long blacks!
Postboy Coffee also has waffles and fresh bakes of the day — such as ham and cheese scones (S$5) — in case you need to nibble on something.
There are four different types of waffles: Plain (S$6.90), chocolate chip (S$7.90), Nutella banana (S$8.50), and PBJ (S$9.50).

The PBJ was decent, but nothing too special, as the thick peanut butter doesn’t feel like it meshes too well with the strawberry compote and blueberries.
But you know what?
We would still come back for the coffee and matcha, and maybe to send a little something to a future us — so they can be proud of how much we’ve grown in the coming year.
