KFC Singapore introduces brand new Nashville chicken range — and it’s worth the heat
KFC Singapore is turning up the heat with a taste of Southern hospitality — think rich spices, a refreshing acidity, and a whole lot of fried chicken.
It’ll be launching its Nashville chicken from June 3 to July 7 — marking the first time this item has been served outside of the United States and Australia.
Nashville Chicken is a Tennessee speciality that’s also referred to simply as “hot chicken”. It’s traditionally marinated with cayenne pepper to give it a signature fiery, orange hue.

As part of the line-up, KFC Singapore will be launching two new items — Nashville chicken and Nashville chicken bites, with its criss-cut fries making a comeback.
Nashville chicken taste-test
Ahead of its launch next week, HungryGoWhere got an advance preview of the launch and here’s what we thought!

The star of the show is undoubtedly the Nashville chicken — crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and dusted with a cayenne-pepper seasoning that delivers a smoky heat with a zesty finish.
The best way to describe it? Imagine sour cream and barbecue chips had a food baby — that’s exactly the addictive flavour that had me reaching for more.
The heat builds up gradually, rather than an intense initial kick. It’s the kind that leaves your lips slightly tingly at the end of your meal and you wanting more.

You can get the Nashville-style seasoning on two types of chicken — the Nashville chicken, which can come as drumsticks or breast meat, or if you prefer it boneless, the Nashville chicken bites.

Both the chicken and bites come served with a Nashville dip and pickles.
The creamy, tart, and almost cheesy tasting sauce adds an extra layer of indulgence and heat. Spice lovers might want to smother it all over your Nashville chicken to crank up the spice.
If not, the dip has just what you need to elevate your criss-cut fries (S$4.95): Little potato lattices fried till golden brown for a satisfying crunch in every bite.

It’s not Nashville chicken if it doesn’t come with a side of pickles.
A cool and tangy must-have to balance out the chicken’s spicy intensity, the pickles are a good snack to have alongside the chicken to help round out its rich, savoury flavours.

Go for the two-piece Nashville chicken (S$9.60) or the Nashville chicken bites in six pieces (S$6.95) or nine pieces (S$8.95).
For those with bigger appetites, there are bundle options available. The Nashville chicken meal (S$10.80) and Nashville chicken bites meal (S$8.45) each add medium fries and a regular drink to the Nashville chicken, dip, and pickles.
Otherwise, grab a friend to share the calories with these bundles. The Nashville chicken box (S$13.80) features two pieces of Nashville chicken, along with two additional pieces of Original Recipe tenders, two additional sides, and a regular drink. The Nashville chicken bites box (S$11.45) comes with six pieces of Nashville chicken bites, an additional one piece chicken in either Original Recipe or hot & crispy, alongside two additional sides and a regular drink.
If you can’t get enough, KFC is also throwing a Nashville dry rave on June 19 at KFC Harbourfront from 7pm to 10pm. Jam out to snazzy tunes by Beans & Beats, an event collective that hosts alcohol-free DJ sets, with free-flow Nashville chicken bites, pickle shots, criss-cut fries, non-alcoholic drinks, and an exclusive KFC pickle shirt.
Get your tickets on KFC’s merch store from June 5 during the pre-sale (S$19.90) or general sale (S$21.90). Do note that ticket holders must be aged 18 and above.
The limited-time menu will be available both dine-in and takeaway at all KFC outlets, except Singapore Zoo and Sentosa.
