KFC Singapore launches new Curry x Sambal Zinger with roti prata and curry dip for National Day
KFC Singapore has built a reputation for unexpected creations, from its spicy Nashville Hot chicken series to spicy, noodle-filled burgers and cult-favourite brands.
Ahead of this year’s SG61 National Day celebrations, the fast-food chain is taking inspiration from Singapore’s diverse food culture.

Available from July 8 to August 18, KFC’s latest lineup spotlights ingredients that many Singaporeans grew up with: Curry, sambal and prata.
This manifests in four new, limited-time only menu items: The Curry x Sambal Zinger, Curry x Sambal chicken, Curry x Sambal macaroni bowl, and roti prata served with chicken curry.
What’s in the Curry x Sambal series?

At the centre of the launch is the Curry x Sambal Zinger (from S$8.10), which swaps out the usual burger buns for flaky roti prata, and pairs crispy chicken with sambal and a side of curry for dipping — a playful nod to Singapore’s melting-pot food scene.
While the combination of roti prata, sambal, curry, and a Zinger fillet might sound like a lot on paper, the flavours come together surprisingly well. The crispy chicken retains its signature crunch, while the sambal adds a gentle heat.

KFC purists will likely gravitate towards the Curry x Sambal Chicken (from S$9.85), which comes with two pieces of Hot & Crispy chicken, a disc of crispy roti prata, and some curry. Unlike the Zinger, which has sambal tucked in between its layers, the spicy paste is served in its own little tub.
KFC’s signature spicy chicken pairs naturally with the curry and sambal, while the accompanying prata is ideal for soaking up every last bit of the curry. It’s a comforting combination that leans into familiar local flavours — the curry even comes with soft potato chunks, just like a typical chicken curry!

Also joining the lineup is the Curry x Sambal macaroni bowl (from S$7.50), a supper-only dish featuring elbow macaroni liberally drenched in the same curry and sambal sauces, with potato chunks and three crispy chicken bites.
This is available at selected KFC stores only, from 9pm to 2am on Fridays, Saturdays and eve of Public Holidays, and 9pm to 12am on Sundays and Public Holidays.
Rounding off the series is the roti prata with chicken curry (S$4.50), a simple but nostalgic pairing of flaky prata dipped into the curry. KFC’s rendition doesn’t reinvent the classic, but it delivers the familiar flavours that make them such an iconic duo.
If you’re dining in larger groups, the bundles are a good way to try a little of everything. Get the Curry x Sambal Buddy meal (S$22.95) for two pieces of Hot & Crispy chicken, a prata, a Curry x Sambal Zinger, as well as two medium sides and two regular Sjora manjo peach drinks.
Curry lineup extends to breakfast

From July 22 to September 8, KFC Singapore is also bringing back its breakfast curry Twister (from S$5.50), a breakfast wrap featuring an Original Recipe chicken fillet, scrambled eggs and sweet curry sauce, during breakfast hours.
Diners can also opt for the breakfast curry Twister Buddy meal (from S$12.95) for two, which comes with an Original Recipe porridge, two hashbrowns, two hot Milo drinks, and a curry Twister.

During the same period, customers who purchase a breakfast platter Buddy meal will also receive a free Milo plushie keychain, which comes with a foldable reusable bag, while stocks last.
Do note that the Curry x Sambal series is available for dine-in and takeaway at all KFC outlets, except Singapore Zoo, and on major food delivery platforms.
