KFC drops new takoyaki-inspired Oiishii Zinger burger and chicken bites for Christmas
Hot off its Butterbear collab and new Thai-Thai menu exclusives last month, KFC is ringing in Christmas with a bold, brand-new Japanese-themed festive lineup.
(Did you know that KFC is a popular Christmas feast in Japan?)
The limited-time takoyaki-inspired creations will run from November 26 to January 1, 2026, along with KFC Singapore’s first-ever Christmas bucket meals.
KFC’s Christmas offerings

Fronting the festive menu is KFC’s brand-new Oiishii Zinger burger (from S$7.45).
It features the signature crispy Zinger fillet, dressed in a sweet-and-savoury Japanese sauce, mayo, bonito flakes, and spring onions, all tucked within an oat-bran bun.
Yes, you read that right. Rather than its regular brioche, this bun — crafted with the shells of oat kernels — gets a healthier, fibre-rich upgrade.
Thankfully, the bread is equally soft and fluffy. It pairs nicely with the other components and delivers the unmistakable, hearty flavours that echo the beloved Japanese street snack, takoyaki (octopus balls).

If you’re looking to dial back the carbs, KFC’s new six-piece Oiishii chicken bites (from S$6.80) is a solid option.
These crisp-fried, juicy chicken thigh chunks are coated in the same Japanese sauce and mayo, then finished with a generous shower of bonito flakes and spring onions.
Instead of the usual octopus chunks encased in a light batter, this is KFC’s re-imagination of the beloved street snack with fried chicken — sans the doughy case.

Complementing the Oiishii line-up is KFC’s freshly launched sweet potato fries (from S$4.20).
And honestly? I’m sold — these orange-hued sticks hit harder than the usual fries, at least for me.

The festive fun doesn’t stop there: KFC Singapore also debuts a Christmas bucket (from S$14.95) in limited-edition Oiishii packaging, starring the Colonel in a full anime-style makeover!
The Christmas bucket for four (S$31.95) is best for sharing, and includes three pieces of chicken, six pieces of hot & crispy chicken bites, five pieces of tenders, and two Zinger burgers.
For a smaller feast, the Christmas bucket for two (S$18.95) comes with three pieces of chicken, six pieces of hot & crispy chicken bites, and two pieces of tenders.
All of these brand-new items will be available for dine-in and takeaway at all KFC outlets, except Singapore Zoo, Sentosa, and Singapore Polytechnic.

As with any special menu, KFC has a sweet surprise up its sleeve — this time, it’s the returning favourite hazelnut chocolate egg tart (S$2.50 per piece). It’s filled with a rich hazelnut chocolate and custard filling, nestled in a flaky crust.
I mean… how much more indulgent can the entire line-up get?
The dessert is available at most KFC outlets, except Oasis Terraces, Jewel Changi Airport, Rivervale Mall, Sentosa, PLQ Mall, Jurong Spring Express, Sunshine Place, Singapore Polytechnic, Junction 8, Bugis Junction, and Towner Express.

If you consider yourself a Japanophile, then you’d want to pop by these five KFC branches that are decked out with Japan-themed decor — each featuring an iconic Japan landmark, such as Mount Fuji and its Torii gates. These are Compass One, Kallang, Jurong Point, Sun Plaza, and HarbourFront Centre.
You can also score a free limited-edition KFC postcard to collect an outlet-exclusive stamp, when you purchase an Oiishii box meal (from S$11.55) in-store!
Limited-edition merch at KFC Kallang only

In case you didn’t know, KFC’s iconic flagship outlet at Kallang reopens today after a two-month revamp.
Expect a fresh, modern interior in KFC’s classic red-and-white colour, alongside a spacious seating layout and the chain’s first-ever merchandise space, showcasing its latest collaboration with street fashion label Amos Ananda.
Dropping exclusively at KFC’s Kallang outlet on November 28, the collection includes a range of sports essentials — perfect for anyone who has recently caught the pickleball bug.
There’s a KFC-themed pickleball T-shirt (S$23.90), socks (S$6.95), headband (S$9.65), and even a pickleball paddle set (comes with two pickleballs, S$39.90), while stocks last.
All in all, it’s an exciting spread of Christmas specials — so mark your calendars for November 26!
