Missing Lele since he left us our shores? There’s another panda that’s making waves on our sunny island.

If you’re fan of the popular movie franchise Kung Fu Panda, then it’ll be no news to you that it’s fourth instalment will be released globally soon. Ahead of its premiere, popular hotpot chain Haidilao has launched Kung Fu Panda merch at all Haidilao outlets in Singapore, from now until Feb 24.

Kung Fu Panda 4 is slated for worldwide release on Mar 7.

Fans can expect Hadilao x Kung Fu Panda merch such as red packet holders, calendars, Chinese New Year couplets and even plush toys.

Diners can purchase these items while dining at Haidilao Singapore outlets, or redeem them using their Haidilao membership points.

Those who spend more than S$238 in a single receipt can also redeem a Kung Fu Panda 4 Prosperity Pack, which comes with a couplet set and red packets.

If you’re lucky enough, you might even get a chance to meet and greet the main character of Kung Fu Panda, Po himself, at selected Haidilao locations. (HungryGoWhere understands there is currently no fixed schedule for Po’s appearance so it’s really down to your panda luck!)

Those who want a literal slice of the panda can also opt for Haidilao’s newest limited edition dessert — its Abundance Panda Mousse (S$9.80), which is a creamy, raspberry dessert in the form of a very adorable mini panda.

Aside from cute desserts, Haidilao is also launching its first-ever mala yusheng (S$58.80) which is guaranteed to spice up your upcoming CNY celebrations.

Haidilao’s new yusheng has all the quintessential flavours — a mild sweetness and tanginess — with an added touch of mala that reminds us of the brand’s well-loved mala soup base.

For those of us that might not have our new year plans set in stone yet, Haidilao is keeping nine of its outlets open on the eve and first day of Chinese New Year (Feb 9 and 10, respectively), while its other outlets will open from the second day of Chinese New Year.

These are the outlets located at Century Square, Jurong Point, Marina Bay Sands, Marina Square, Northpoint City, Plaza Singapura, Somerset, Vivocity and Wisma Atria.

Haidilao is on the GrabFood delivery service and offers free delivery (up to S$3 off) with GrabUnlimited.

Do explore the new GrabFood Dine-in service for awesome deals.

Alternatively, you can book a ride to any Haidilao outlets for these adorable Haidilao x Kung Fu Panda merch and new dishes.
