Chagee collaborates with Sanrio for exclusive tanned Hello Kitty merchandise and a new cocoa drink

Chagee and Hello Kitty fans, listen up: There’s something irresistibly cute to look forward to this festive season!

Popular tea brand Chagee has teamed up with the beloved Sanrio character for a limited-time collaboration to bring cosy vibes, exclusive merchandise, and a new cocoa-based drink to the menu.

As part of the collaboration, you can get your hands on a rare version that’s not often found elsewhere — a tanned Hello Kitty!

Similar versions have been seen elsewhere in territories such as Hawaii and Okinawa, although this one seems to sport a slightly darker sun-kissed glow.

The exclusive merchandise line-up includes:

• The Snuggle snap (plushie snap-on bracelet)
• The Cuddle sling (soft plushie shoulder bag)
• The plushie charm (plushie charm)
• The mini charm (compact keychain charm)

New cocoa oolong milk tea

Drinks-wise, at the heart of the collaboration is a limited-time cocoa oolong milk tea (from S$5.20).

The drink blends rich cocoa with Chagee’s signature oolong tea, creating a balance of chocolatey depth and roasted tea fragrance.

The oolong used is sourced from the Wuyi mountains, known for its distinctive roasted, floral, and honeyed aromas, while the cocoa hails from Cote d’Ivoire’s famed gold belt — recognised as one of the most prestigious cocoa-producing regions in the world.

The drink also comes in limited-edition tanned Hello Kitty festive cups, and served with an adorable thermal bag carrier.

Seasonal bundle sets are available, too, if you want more bang for your buck.

From December 12, you snag these bundles:

• Two large cocoa oolong milk teas and a Snuggle snap (S$21.20)
• One large cocoa oolong milk tea and a Cuddle sling (S$21.20)

Meanwhile, from December 19, you can get:

• Two large cocoa oolong milk teas and a plushie charm (S$21.40)
• In-app voucher bundle (S$12.90) including one buy-one-get-one large cocoa oolong milk teas, seven 15% off any drink, and a redeemable mini charm

Sanrio pop-up at Orchard Road

If that doesn’t satiate your love for all things Sanrio, be sure to head down to the Chagee x Hello Kitty pop-up from December 13 to 22.

It’ll be held at the event area in front of Mandarin Gallery along Orchard Road.

Visitors can look forward to a five-stop festive trail with a stamp rally, including a tasting of the new cocoa oolong drinks at its Festivi-tea bar, interactive DIY stations where you can craft your own Chagee Christmas baubles, photo-taking opportunities, and more!
