Why not go straight for a seafood buffet in Singapore instead? With free-flow succulent lobsters, freshly-shucked oysters, delectable sashimi and more, these buffets in Singapore are the ideal place to be for anyone who loves anything under the sea.

So, sit back, relax and dive into our curated list of Singapore’s best seafood buffets, fit for all wallet sizes — from luxurious hotel spreads to non-hotel selections, we’ve got you covered to satisfy your cravings for all things seafood.

This is one place that many would have gone for their birthdays or anniversaries coupled with a staycation typically, given the slightly out-of-the-way location of this hotel and its restaurant,

Yes, you’re right, we’re referring to The Line at Shangri-La. For seafood fanatics, it has a “Seafood Extravaganza” dinner buffet on Thursdays, which is essentially seafood galore for any seafood lover.

Among all the seafood buffet options in Singapore, we love that The Line has an outdoor seafood BBQ station, complete with items that taste great grilled, such as slipper lobster, squid, and prawns. Don’t sleep on its grilled oysters, whether it is with its unique salted egg bechamel sauce or with XO sauce.

You can expect items such as stir-fried crab with creamy butter salted egg sauce, cereal prawn, and even an aromatic assam pedas mixed seafood selection. Now, who said seafood buffets had to be all about raw, steamed or grilled items only?

Some delectable seafood dishes you can look forward to include stir-fried black pepper prawn with trio capsicum, stir-fried butter and garlic baby lobster, and even Singapore chilli crab served with fried mantou

Granted this buffet option may not have an ice bar or a grilled seafood station, but we think the fact that its buffet prices are all one-for-one, makes this a value-for-money buffet choice if you’re in the area or are looking to save a bit of money but still indulge.

Why visit? Tung Lok Seafood is a well-established household name in Singapore, known for its fresh and quality seafood, as well as comforting Chinese classics done right. However, we bet you didn’t know that it also has buffet options.

To be exact, it has an a la carte seafood deluxe dinner buffet where you can enjoy your fill of its delectable seafood dishes such as its drunken herbal prawn and deep-fried sea bass with light soy sauce. Unfortunately its popular dishes such as chilli crab and fried mantou and steamed scallop with garlic and vermicelli are only limited to one  serving per table, but at less than S$50 per diner, we think it’s fair game.

Take note that each outlet offers a slightly different menu for its seafood buffets, so do check out its website for its respective menus to plan which outlet to head down to.

Tung Lok Seafood’s a la carte buffet prices:

  • Lunch — From S$39.80 for adults, S$29.80 for children

Well-loved for decades as a go-to buffet destination, Carousel at Royal Plaza on Scotts deserves a spot on this list for its reliable fare, unbeatable location, and relatively affordable prices (for its variety) over the years.

While its regular lunch, dinner and even its high tea buffet spreads come with a good amount of seafood options, we think the true seafood lovers ought to go for the lobsters and crabs menu (available Sunday and Monday evenings), which runs till the end of June.

There, you can expect seafood on ice, luxurious items such as steamed snow queen crab, Japanese-style poached baby lobster and even a lobster risotto scented with truffle. If these aren’t tempting enough options to lure you down, we don’t know what will!

Expect over 200 items, served up to you tableside, from everyone’s favourite sashimi, to even nori taco and sushi tacos!
