Angeline Ang | April 29, 2026

If you’re a Sanrio lover, this is bound to make your eyes light up. And if you’re already heading to Universal Studios Singapore (USS), it’s an easy add-on to your itinerary — or it just might just be time to plan that next trip down to Sentosa.

The new Superstar Boutique & Cafe officially opens today (Apr 29), and it’s located just a short, straight walk from the theme park’s entrance.

The cafe offers adorable Sanrio-themed sweets and drinks. There isn’t much in the way of seating, just a few tables and bar stools, so it’s more of a quick stop in between attractions, rather than a dine-in spot.

The menu leans heavily towards sweets, so it’ll especially appeal to those with a sweet tooth.

The assorted bombolone (from S$9.50) comes in five flavours — mango, raspberry, blueberry, strawberry, and apple cinnamon — filled with fruit compote and vanilla diplomat cream, and finished with a dusting of icing sugar.

For something a little lighter, there’s the My Melody lychee & rose Swiss roll (from S$10) filled with rose and lychee cream, and Kuromi black sesame & vanilla Swiss roll (from S$10) filled with vanilla cream and nutty black sesame. Both are finished with white chocolate and icing.

Both the bombolones and Swiss rolls are also available as drink sets from S$18.

The Hello Kitty strawberry delight (from S$10) is a classic strawberry sponge shortcake layered with fresh strawberries, Chantilly cream, and a chocolate topping.

If you’re after a crunchy snack, the Hello Kitty’s popcorn (S$12) is a sweet caramel option.

There’s a selection of drinks, too.

If you’re in the mood for something refreshing, there’s the My Melody popping lemon Fizz (S$11.50) with konjac jelly, thyme, and dried lemon. There’s also the Hello Kitty green apple Freeze (S$11.50) with aloe vera and dried apple garnish.

You can get lattes here, if you need a little caffeine pick-me-up.

There’s the Pompompurin caramel latte (from S$10) and the Kuromi dark choco latte (from S$10), both come with a chocolate pretzel stick, and the Cinnamoroll vanilla latte (from S$10) that comes with a cinnamon stick.

If you’re keeping it simple, the usual americanos and lattes are available, too.
