McDonald’s Prosperity burger returns on Dec 29, with new garlic pepper McNuggets

Shannon Yap | December 22, 2025

We’re heading into the final stretch of 2025, and McDonald’s Singapore is already ringing in the festivities. The fast food giant is bringing back its ever-popular Prosperity burger, as it usually does for the Lunar New Year!

Okay, maybe it’s still a little early, but we’re not complaining at all.

Beyond the Prosperity burger’s return, McDonald’s is rolling out a mix of familiar favourites and fresh new sides, too.

Mark your calendars: Prosperity burger is back

Dropping on December 29, the Prosperity burger is set to be the main event. It’s slated to be everything that the fans remember it to be: Tender protein slathered in its iconic black pepper sauce, layered with onions, and housed in fluffy sesame buns.

You’ll be able to get it in both chicken (from S$8.95 for an Extra Value Meal) and beef (from S$11.75 for a Double beef Extra Value Meal) variations.

For something just a touch heartier, there’s also the Fortune Prosperity burger that’s all about unapologetic indulgence.

It’s similar to the base Prosperity burger, just jazzed up with an extra egg. Just like its classic counterpart, it comes in beef and chicken options (from S$10.25 for an Extra Value Meal)!

The Fortune Prosperity series lands on January 22, 2026, from 11am onwards, and will be available for dine-in and takeaway at all McDonald’s outlets.

New McNuggets flavour…and Twister fries, of course!

It’s hardly a shock that the Twister fries (an extra S$1) is making its annual return, too, but it’s the all-new garlic pepper chicken McNuggets that has caught our attention.

Dusted with black pepper specks, and packed with a mild garlic-and-pepper kick, it will be available a la carte (six pieces from S$6.70) or as part of an Extra Value Meal (from S$8.15).

For something sweet, there’s the peach McFizz (from S$3.65), a new mandarin orange soft-serve (from S$1.30), and the much-loved Hershey’s soft-serve (from S$1.70) making its return, too!

With staggered launch dates across the menu, here’s a quick cheat-sheet so you don’t miss out on any of its exclusive offerings:

  • Available from December 29, 11am: Prosperity burger, Twister fries, and peach McFizz
  • Available from January 2, 2026: Garlic pepper chicken McNuggets (from 11am) and Hersey’s soft-serve
  • Available from January 22, 2026, 11am: Fortune Prosperity burger

You know the drill — these festive specials are only around for a limited time, so get them while you can, at all McDonald’s outlets!
