McDonald’s Grimace Shake comes to Singapore, joined by new deluxe creamy mushroom and spicy tomato ebi burgers

Evan Mua | March 17, 2026

We are getting a big limited-time rollout for March at McDonald’s Singapore, as the fast-food giant brings on a whole slate of specials!

The biggest of them is the Grimace shake (top-up from S$1.85), a purple fruity shake named after the popular mascot, that goes live on March 19.

Last year, there was a deluge of social media content revolving around the Grimace shake, including a funny (and unhinged) trend, when it was launched in other countries around the world.

For those out of the loop, countless creators filmed themselves drinking the shake, then ending up unconscious, foaming at the mouth with purple liquid.

We wonder if we will be seeing those creepy reels in Singapore, too!

However, March is not just all about Grimace. McDonald’s Singapore is also bringing back the crowd-favourite creamy mushroom cheeseburgers (from S$8.55 with an Extra Value meal, available with double or triple patties).

This time, the burgers are available in an all-new creamy mushroom deluxe burger (from S$10.05 with Extra Value meal, available with both single or double patties) variation.

The deluxe burgers still come loaded up with the same rich mix of black pepper mayo and grilled mushrooms, just glammed up with thicker, juicier patties.

These mushroomy delights will also be released on March 19, along with the returning Star potatoes (extra S$1.20), which we last saw in 2020, to munch on!

If you find yourself craving a tangy profile, McDonald’s Singapore has also re-introduced its beloved spicy tomato sauce, in the form of its spicy tomato burgers and McSavers meals, yesterday (March 16).

Fans can enjoy the sauce with the classic renditions of Filet-o-Fish, McChicken, or beef burgers, but there will also be an all-new spicy tomato ebi burger for prawn lovers!
