Greenhouse at Dusit Thani Laguna: Stunning views and new Thai-inspired bites

Shannon Ong | February 6, 2026

If you’re looking for a good meal with a getaway feel, Greenhouse in the east is worth a visit. Located within Dusit Thani Laguna, a luxury beachfront resort in Singapore, the restaurant offers a dining experience akin to mini staycation, all without leaving the country.

Greenhouse is best known for its lavish buffet spreads that draw regular crowds. It almost feels like dining in Bali — except you’re really just escaping the city for a couple of hours, despite being just minutes away from Changi Airport.

If you’re planning a visit, do note that it’s roughly a 20-minute walk from the nearest public transport point, so it’s recommended to drive or book a ride there, for convenience.

Luxurious views

Its setting is its biggest selling point, with lush greenery, tranquil waters, and glass-panelled interiors that flood the space with natural light. The serene, resort-like atmosphere feels far removed from urban life, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed and romantic dining experience.

New a la carte menu

Greenhouse recently launched an a la carte menu that showcases flavours from both the east and west, bringing together go-to comfort dishes and bold local favourites.

We kicked off the meal with two standout appetisers.

The Yum salmon (S$22), a classic crowd-pleaser, surprised us with its refreshing Thai flavours and well-balanced blend of spice, citrus, and herbs.

Following close is the scorched bone marrow (S$18), featuring rich, buttery beef marrow topped with salsa verde and paired with toasted focaccia. The herbaceous sauce cuts through the richness beautifully, while the warm, crusty bread makes every bite indulgent, yet well-balanced.

For mains, if you’re looking for familiar classics, there’s the pad krapow gai (S$21) with minced chicken. While it does not particularly stand out, taste-wise, it is a reliable choice that you couldn’t go wrong with. The glut of runny egg yolks adds a nice touch of simple, comforting eggy goodness, and make for a great picture, too!

The yellow soft shell crab curry (S$28) was probably the star of the show for its luxurious, golden-fried soft shell crab nestled in a puddle of warm, aromatic curry and tender vegetables. Each bite was rich yet comforting, with the creamy sauce perfectly complementing the delicate crunch of the crab.

If you prefer more protein, there’s the confit duck rice (S$32) — a confit duck leg paired with a bowl of duck-fat rice that’s rich and fragrant. The duck meat is tender and well-seasoned, making it a satisfying choice for heartier appetites.

We also enjoyed the confit chicken a la king (S$30), a creamy dish with mushrooms atop butter rice, where every bite was hearty and comforting. The tender chicken paired well with the velvety sauce, making it an easy choice for those who enjoy classic, feel-good flavours.

If you’re more interested in soaking in the views without committing to a full meal, you can head over to its Legends Bar for cocktails and casual catch-ups.

Fridays are even better in February with its Ladies’ Night, held every week from 7pm to 10pm, featuring free-flow house red, white, and sparkling prosecco!
