Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list 2025: Singapore claims seven spots

The verdict is out on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2025 — Bangkok-based progressive Indian restaurant Gaggan claims the top spot in Asia, while modern French restaurant Odette was named top in Singapore, coming at No. 7 on the list.
The list of Asia’s top 50 restaurants was announced tonight at the Grand Hyatt Seoul, two weeks after the extended No. 51 to No. 100 list was released.
Launched in 2013, Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants is decided upon by voters from Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants Academy, a group of more than 300 F&B leaders, ranging from food writers and critics, to chefs, restaurateurs and culinary experts.
Last year’s list saw Sezanne from Tokyo, Japan taking pole position, while Singapore’s best-performing restaurant, Odette, came in at No.10 on the list.
This year, seven Singapore-based restaurants have made it to the top 50 list, with Odette leading the pack.
French fine dining spot Les Amis climbed 10 places to No. 28 this year, while the rankings for No. 37 to No. 40 were dominated by Singapore ones — Labyrinth, Burnt Ends, Meta and Seroja, respectively — with gastro-botanica spot Euphoria rounding off Singapore’s showing among the top 50 at No. 48.
All seven had also made the top 50 rankings in the 2024 iteration of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants.
