New menus to check out in Singapore in August 2025
If you’re the sort of foodie that prefers to escape the crowds which throng new openings around town, we’ve got news for you: August is shaping up to be a feast of new and special menus, and promotions.
Our new menus round-up for August features restaurants that serve up cuisines ranging from Asian favourites to hearty European plates, and even modern fusion creations — there’s plenty to explore.
Without further ado, here are some of the latest dining launches in Singapore worth checking out this month, just in time for that month-end payday splurge:
1. Burma Social

Burmese restaurant Burma Social has rolled out its newest menu, “Feast of the Six Kingdoms”.
Framed as a whimsical journey with the fictional Prince Pyu Pyu, Burma Social’s new menu takes diners across borders through Burmese interpretations of dishes inspired by neighbouring countries — China, Thailand, India, Bangladesh, Laos, and its latest addition, Japan.
This refreshed lineup features creative spins on Asian favourites. Highlights to include the braised pork belly (S$28), a succulent cut slow-braised and glazed in sweet soy sauce, the soft-shell crab bao (S$20 for two) where golden crisp meets pillowy-soft buns, and the piquillo wild roll (S$14 for four pieces).
The last item captures the spirit of its newest menu succinctly, featuring a a sushi roll stuffed with asparagus, avocado, and cucumber, topped with piquillo pepper, served with a sweet chilli-mango salsa.
2. 21 on Rajah

From now till Oct 2, 21 on Rajah is teaming up with Penang Marriott Hotel to bring the Penang Street Feast to Aloft Singapore Novena. This halal-certified buffet features over 30 hawker favourites on rotation, with an option to add on a free-flow durian buffet, too.
The buffet runs for both lunch and dinner daily, with prices starting at S$56 for a weekday lunch and S$68 for a weekday dinner.
Don’t know where to start among the many street food favourites? We’d recommend starting with the sup ekor sapi mami tanjung, a hearty oxtail soup that’s rich, aromatic, and brimming with tender, fall-apart meat.
For something with a refreshing kick, its Penang assam laksa is a reliable go-to, with its sour and spicy punch, layered with umami depth. And to round out your meal, don’t miss the black angus beef rib-eye — slow-roasted, perfectly seasoned, and melt-in-your-mouth tender.
3. Madison’s

If you’re after a Sunday brunch with generous portions that won’t break the bank, check out The Sunday Bucket at Madison’s. This all-day dining spot at Pullman Hotel Singapore combines the laidback charm of a New York City deli, with a Southern twist thanks to its new extravagant seafood boil bucket menu introduction.
The 1.2kg seafood boil bucket (priced at S$58 for two diners, S$98 for four diners) comes with tiger prawns, baby crayfish, lobsters, and five sides.
In the spread, the lobster naturally takes centrestage, especially when dipped into both the lemon-garlic cheese sauce and sambal aioli, while the baby crayfish adds a subtle sweetness that’s delicate yet flavourful. If there’s a side you must absolutely make space for, it’s the mac and cheese, hands down.
4. Man Fu Yuan

Well-loved Chinese restaurant Man Fu Yuan at InterContinental Singapore has introduced a refreshed dining experience that honours the legacy of Cantonese cuisine while reimagining it with a modern touch. Executive chef Aaron Tan’s new a la carte menu draws on flavours from across Asia, offering bold creations that balance tradition and innovation.
Some highlights to look forward to include the flambe roasted angus beef tomahawk with Mongolian sauce and spices (from S$188) — a showstopping centrepiece, deep-fried, flambeed tableside, and ideal for sharing among three to five guests.
Seafood lovers can look forward to the oven-baked rock lobster with honey pineapple, salted egg yolk sauce and cheese (from S$52 per portion for half a lobster).
Those looking for a bit of everything can try the renewed Man Fu Yuan dim sum classic, in the form of the Chef Combination 2.0 (S$38 per person). It’s an elegant platter that brings together morsels such as chilled crab meat with crab roe, and roasted iberico pork collar with caviar.
5. McDonald’s

Fast food giant McDonald’s switches up its menu ever so often, but we think this new menu introduction needs a special mention. Fans of its wraps will be pleased to know that it has rolled out a new spicy tomato wrap series, alongside a few other returning favourites.
There’s the spicy tomato chicken McWrap and the spicy tomato buttermilk chicken McWrap (both from S$9.15), as well as spicy tomato sauce variations of its classics such as the Fillet-O-Fish, McChicken and beef burgers (from S$5.20).
And of course, no McDonald’s refresh is complete without a new pie flavour. This time, it’s the lemon creme pie (S$1.95) — flaky, golden, and filled with zesty, creamy goodness — just the zing you need to end off a sumptuous meal.
Here’s all you need to know about the new McDonald’s launch.
