Viral fried chicken brand Sides opens second Singapore outlet at Weave Sentosa

Shannon Ong | March 17, 2026

Remember the viral fried chicken spot that had Singaporeans going crazy, with queues stretching for hours when it first opened?

That frenzy was for Sides, the Nashville-style hot chicken brand by Sidemen, a collective of UK YouTubers, which first opened in Singapore at Bugis+ on June 5, 2025.

But what many might not know, is that Sides opened a second outpost at Weave in Resorts World Sentosa, earlier this January.

For those who have been putting off a visit because of the snaking queues at its OG outlet, this might be a good time to check it out.

The Sentosa outlet is still relatively under the radar — making it a great opportunity to enjoy the brand’s signature hot chicken without the usual wait.

While we had already visited Sides at its Bugis+ outlet, we had to check out its second branch — especially for the new items it had introduced.

Inside, the restaurant kept the same bold aesthetic as its Bugis+ outlet, with visuals of KSI and the rest of the Sidemen around the space, alongside its signature blue-lit interior.

The space itself was fairly compact, with around 15 tables available for diners.

What’s new on its menu

Apart from its usual Nashville hot chicken, burgers and sides, the brand continues to introduce new menu items to keep things fresh.

Sides has introduced a new KSI Creator bundle (S$19.99) that rotates monthly, with its first edition already launched this month. The set features a new hot honey burger, paired with tandoori waffle fries, onion rings, buttermilk ranch, and a drink of your choice.

Sweet-savoury fans will want to try its hot honey burger, which leaned on the sweeter side, with the honey glaze adding a sticky sweetness to the crispy fried chicken.

We added on burger cheese (extra S$0.99), too, for a richer, more savoury dimension.

Meanwhile, the tandoori waffle fries, coated in tandoori seasoning that added a slight spicy kick, were surprisingly addictive.

This version of the monthly KSI Creator Bundle drop will only be available till March 31, before a new bundle takes its place next month.

Another new item — a permanent one — is its Nashville churro bites (S$4.90), consisting of six bite-sized churros coated in chocolate drizzle and its signature Nashville-cinnamon seasoning, giving it a sweet, slightly spicy flavour.

The combination was a little unusual, but it was still fairly enjoyable as a sweet side.

Sides’ signatures

While we had already tried most of Sides’ menu items during our last visit, there were still a few we had yet to sample, including the chicken wrap (S$11), a lighter alternative to its signature Nashville burgers.

It comes wrapped in a toasted tortilla with chicken tenders and a choice of sauce or seasoning across four spice levels, from Nashville Mild to Nashville Insane.

There’s also its bestselling sticky hot honey drizzle, which we opted for.

The chicken was tender and juicy, with the sticky sauce complementing the wrap with a touch of sweetness.

To temper your grease-heavy meal, give its milkshakes (S$7.90) a go. These are available in three flavours: Chocolate, salted caramel, and vanilla.

Alternatively, opt for a cup of soft-serve (S$4.50), which comes in yoghurt or chocolate, or a mix of both, with the option to add chocolate sauce (extra S$0.99).

We especially enjoyed the yoghurt for its rich, tangy flavour.

As with its OG outlet, the store also carries a range of Sides merchandise — caps, lanyards, hoodies and more — at the counter, so if you’re a fan, this is your chance to snag some memorabilia!
