KFC parmesan truffle chicken is back in Singapore for Christmas!
Splendid news for fried chicken fans: KFC Singapore’s parmesan truffle chicken is making a comeback for a limited-time only!
This is the third time the flavour is making a return after its initial launch in 2019.
If you’ve never tried it, it is essentially KFC’s signature crispy chicken coated in a generous sprinkle of parmesan cheese, with an underlying — albeit mild — taste of truffle.
KFC parmesan truffle chicken is available from November 27 until January 1.
KFC parmesan truffle chicken taste test
When the piping hot chicken arrived on our table, we were hit by a rich aroma of parmesan cheese, while a subtle whiff of truffle came in next.
KFC’s signature chicken is always comforting, in its own way — as we sank our teeth into the chicken, we were greeted by a nice crisp on its skin.
We also appreciate the subtle hints of truffle notes in each bite — it isn’t overpowering, so you won’t get jelak — and paired nicely with the chicken and grated parmesan.
As you collect your meal, you’ll also be given a small card with a QR code to listen to KFC’s special Christmas jingle, so you can get into the festive mood (it’s the Christmas season, after all).
New menu items
That’s not all: KFC has some new items up its sleeve, too. The all-new parmesan truffle burger (S$8.20), which features its signature parmesan truffle Zinger fillet, BBQ nachos with cheese sauce (S$4.95), and cheesy whipped potato (S$3.30 for regular, S$4.95 for medium).
If you’re just looking to get a straightforward parmesan truffle chicken fix, you can purchase it a la carte (S$4.60 for one piece).
For those who have been following the mochi donut craze, you can get your sweet fix with KFC’s new salted caramel mochi ring. They are available a la carte (S$2.30), or you can get them with a regular Milo drink for a top-up of S$1.
For an even sweeter deal, you can get four for S$8.50 during this period.
Limited-time deals
For a more well-rounded meal, you can get the parmesan truffle individual meal (from S$9.55) or parmesan truffle box (from S$12.80).
And if you’re looking for even bigger portions, you can share the calories with your friends and family with the parmesan truffle chicken buddy meal (S$23.95) and parmesan truffle chicken family feast (S$42.95).
