KFC’s cheesy mushroom Zinger Double Down is making a comeback in Singapore!

For those of us who stress-eat, KFC is offering its new and improved bun-free cheesy mushroom Zinger Double Down for a much-needed dopamine boost.

This year, the fast food giant has revamped its recipe: In between its two spicy Zinger fillets, you’ll find sauteed mushrooms and cheese — albeit KFC’s signature cheese sauce, instead of shredded ones.

Another option is the classic KFC Zinger Double Down, which features crispy chicken bacon, mayonnaise and sliced cheese between two Zinger fillets. 

These will be available from today (October 16).

To commemorate the Double Down’s long-anticipated return though, KFC Plaza Singapura is also giving away free cheesy mushroom Zinger Double Down “burgers”.

Simply stop by KFC Plaza Singapore on October 21 between 2pm to 4pm to take part. Write your frustrations down on a post-it note, stick it on an onsite boxing machine and play a round.

After which, you’ll be rewarded with a free redemption card for a cheesy mushroom Zinger Double Down, for redemption between October 22 and November 5 at any KFC store in Singapore, except KFC Sentosa, Singapore Zoo and Singapore Polytechnic.

If you’re just looking to get your Double Down fix, you can purchase the “burger” ala carte (from S$8.10). 

Meanwhile, if you’re looking to round it out as a full meal, there’s a variety of options, from individual meals to sharing ones. Share the calories with a friend with KFC’s buddy meal, which includes a dipping sauce (from S$21.95). 

We understand the Double Down will be available for a limited time only, and can be enjoyed via food delivery and in-stores at all KFC outlets except KFC Sentosa and Singapore Zoo.
