KFC x Butterbear Collection

Butterbear is a Thai dessert brand and cafe that took off in 2023, with this adorable ursine character as its mascot.

It has since become a loveable internet sensation, and you may have seen her on social media, or through various collectibles sold around town.

If you’re already a fan, here’s how you can bring home whimsical and exclusive Butterbear merchandise from October 15!

Simply purchase KFC’s newest Thai-Thai saucy chicken box (S$13.25) or the Thai-Thai saucy bites box (S$11.95) to snag yourself a KFC x Butterbear blind box figurine (S$12.95, purchase with purchase).

There are four irresistibly cute designs available:

  • Egg tart Butterbear
  • KFC Zinger Butterbear
  • KFC drumstick Butterbear
  • KFC bucket Butterbear

These also double up as keychains that you can flaunt or attach your keys to!

Do note that this is available at KFC stores only for dine-in and takeaway, and each customer is entitled to two box meals and one blind box only.

If you’re an early riser, you can collect an exclusive Butterbear sticker sheet by purchasing the 2 for S$12 breakfast Twister Buddy meals during breakfast hours, which include a choice of KFC’s original Twister or wrap — the perfect way to kickstart the day with a friend!

This is available at KFC breakfast stores only, excluding Sentosa.

Inject some playfulness into your wardrobe with the Butterbear long socks (S$5.95), if you’re opting for food delivery.

Order any of the two new Thai-Thai box meals to unlock the red socks — if you’re on the KFC delivery app — or the green ones, which are available exclusively through GrabFood.

And the cuteness doesn’t stop here — mark your calendars for October 29!

KFC has saved the biggest and most adorable drop to the end: The KFC x Butterbear plush crossbody bag (S$15.95 with the purchase of any Thai-Thai box meal).

Be sure to get there early, though. Only 3,000 plush bags are available islandwide and are limited to one per customer, and at selected outlets, too.

KFC’s all-new Thai-Thai offerings

You’re gonna need to grab KFC’s Thai-Thai items in order to get these super adorable merchandise, so what’s on the menu, exactly?

When you think of Thai food, green curries and tom yum might be the first dishes you think of, but KFC’s pushing that envelope.

A spin on its signature hot & crispy chicken, the new Thai-Thai saucy chicken (S$4.60 per piece) is dunked in a tangy, fiery and sweet sauce!

There’s also the new Thai-Thai saucy bites (S$6.95 for eight pieces) — a boneless option that’s slathered in the same, indulgent and punchy sauce.

Another new item is the Thai fritters with condensed milk (S$4.40), which draws on the popular Thai-Chinese street snack patongko — essentially dough fritters served with sweetened condensed milk — a sweet treat to wrap up your Thai-Thai meal!

KFC has bundled these items into two box meals. There’s the Thai-Thai saucy box, comprising two Thai-Thai saucy chicken pieces, two Original Recipe tenders, one regular fries, two sides of your choice, and one drink. Meanwhile, the boneless Thai-Thai saucy bites box includes one Thai-Thai saucy bites piece, one chicken (either Original Recipe or hot & crispy), two sides of your choice and a drink, too!

These will be available for dine-in and takeaway at all KFC outlets, except KFC Sentosa and Singapore Zoo, and will be major delivery platforms, until November 25.
