Jellycat-themed menu at Simplicite Cafe in Eunos for a limited-time
If you’ve been seeing a wave of adorable plushie launches all over your social media feed, you should be familiar with the Jellycat brand — a London plush toy brand that has been stealing hearts with its adorable stuffies and food-themed retail experiences.

Fans will be thrilled to know that Simplicite by Fresh Fruits Lab, a modern French-Parisian cafe near Eunos, has rolled out an irresistible Jellycat-inspired menu featuring limited-time mains, drinks, and desserts. It’ll be available at least until October.
And here’s the cherry on top: If you’re wondering where to use your CDC vouchers, this is one spot to consider. You can also check out other participating cafes in our list here.

For this special collaboration, Simplicite Cafe itself has been transformed into a Jellycat haven. The cosy space is filled with plush Jellycat toys, so you can cuddle one while you dine — and maybe even snap a new cute-aggression-inducing profile picture.
Too adorable to munch

On the menu, you’ll find hearty Western-style mains such as pastas, all-day breakfasts, and burgers. Like any good cafe, there’s also a selection of drinks and desserts — only this time, they come in its most adorable form, yet.
A personal favorite was the double cheese Da Bomb burger (S$24), a smoky double beef patty topped with cheddar cheese, grilled bacon, a sunny side-up egg, and greens in balsamic dressing.

Another main is the Messy breakfast (S$26) — a plate with a Jellycat shio pan, bockwurst sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, and greens. It did lean slightly small for its price, so if you’re extra hungry, the double cheese Da Bomb burger might be the better pick.

Craving something sweet instead? The blueberry pancake stack (S$21) layers three fluffy pancakes with fresh blueberries and a drizzle of caramel.
Aside from the adorable crafted food items bearing little Jellycat faces, the cafe has also rolled out its finest tableware. Besides mugs and bowls, there’s also Jellycat vases, tissue boxes and even wall decor.

Sweet treats
Besides its mains, the cafe offers even cuter munchies — although it’s the desserts that will likely steal the spotlight. I enjoyed the Sunny Cheeselet (S$13), a mango-flavoured cake shaped like a wedge of cheese, with layers of chocolate sponge and mango jelly in between. If you’re a mousse lover, you’ll enjoy this one — soft, creamy, and rich without being too heavy.
On the other hand, the Dewberry Sponge (S$13) — a vanilla sponge cake with strawberry cream — leaned slightly dry, but was still pleasantly light and made indulgently creamy by a coat of buttercream.

For drinks, the cafe serves up crowd-pleasers such as the Biscoff latte and pistachio latte (both S$8.80), both of which are caffeine-free. I also tried the lavender latte (S$9.90), a comforting, subtly floral pick.
Each one comes in an oversized Jellycat cup — available hot or iced — making them as fun to look at, as they are to sip.

When I visited, a few desserts had already sold out — including the one I was most excited about: The Cookiecrumb loaf (S$13), a Biscoff-flavoured mousse shaped like a slice of bread. If you’ve got your eye on a specific treat, it’s worth heading down earlier to secure it.
For those who are here mainly for the adorable creations and an Instagram-worthy spread, go for the Jellycat Whimsy Hour (S$55.90), a high tea set for two served from 2pm to 6pm. Perfect for a leisurely afternoon, it features an assortment of tartlets, macarons, mousse, canapes, and more, paired with your choice of coffee or a pot of tea.
Before you dash over, though, make sure to book in advance — the cafe is almost always packed during peak hours, and you definitely don’t want to make a wasted trip.
