Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025: Six Singapore restaurants on extended 51 to 100 list

Time feels like it’s been sprinting past us in 2025. In just a blink of an eye, we’re already in March.
Besides marking the end of the first quarter of the year, it also heralds the award season for the best restaurants in our region: We’re closing in on the announcement of the annual Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants award!
For 2025, the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants results will be announced on Mar 25 and we’ll see the festivities making a return to Seoul for the second time in a row.

Earning a spot on the list is one of the most esteemed accolades a restaurant can achieve, rivalling the world-renowned Michelin Guide in prestige.
It’s an offshoot of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants awards that was introduced in 2013 and is focused solely on the best restaurants Asia has to offer.

As is tradition, Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025 is starting off with the announcement of its extended 51 to 100 list today, Mar 12.
Last year’s rankings saw nine Singapore restaurants named amongst the 50 best, with another eight being featured on the extended list — how will Singapore fare for Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025?
Six Singapore restaurants make the cut

Well, we see a total of six local restaurants being included in the extended list, including three-Michelin-starred Zen at No. 79 and two-Michelin-starred Jaan by Kirk Westaway at No. 72.
Modern fine dining restaurant Born leads the Singaporean delegation, placing at a respectable No. 54 on the 2025 edition of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants — though it’s a dip from its No. 25 position in 2024.
Plenty of Michelin-starred representation!
