New menus to check out in Singapore in July 2025

Shannon Ong | July 25, 2025

This July brings a wave of exciting new menu launches — from renowned restaurants, to fast-food chains — just in time for the SG60 celebrations.

Some are putting a fresh spin on local favourites, while others are bringing bold new twists on tried-and-true flavours. A few even come with limited-edition merchandise that’s just as tempting as the food!

Don’t sleep on these drops — most of them are only here till August.

1. Kichi Kichi pop-up at Tsukimi Hamburg

You’ve probably seen chef Motokichi Yukimura of Kyoto’s Kichi Kichi Omurice going viral on social media with his theatrical flair. Well, good news, you don’t need to fly to Kyoto to try it — Kichi Kichi Omurice has landed in Singapore, and is available exclusively at Tsukimi Hamburg.

While it’s not the exact sliced version made famous online, the local rendition features a fluffy spiral “tornado” omelette instead. There are two permanent menu options on Tsukimi Hamburg’s menu: The Kichi Kichi omurice (S$12.80) and the Kichi Kichi hamburg omurice (S$16.80).

Though chef Motokichi won’t be here to slice your ooey gooey omelette open, like he does in Kyoto, the omurice itself delivers enough flavour and flair to make it worth the visit.

If you love Japanese food and great cocktails, but haven’t checked out this Tokyo-inspired bar that’s on the 50 Best Discovery list, now’s the perfect time.

To mark its 10th anniversary, Neon Pigeon is rolling out “The Perfect 10” — a S$10 menu running from July 9 to August 9. There’s a catch: Each diner is limited to one S$10 dish, so it’s a good excuse to bring a friend (or two). There’s also a refreshed menu alongside the promotion that’s just as exciting.

From the S$10 selection, highlights include the unagi and foie gras donabe (U.P. S$22) and toro tataki (U.P. S$18) — a buttery, seared fatty tuna dish. If you’re looking to go beyond the S$10 menu, the salt-baked hamachi collar (S$25) is a standout that’s fired tableside!

And of course, no visit is complete without a drink. Toast the occasion with signature cocktails such as the Ran-Ta-Ta-Tan, a zesty drink in a lantern, or the Teared negroni — both now at just S$10.

With Singapore’s 60th birthday around the corner, McDonald’s Singapore is turning up the heat with one of its boldest creations yet: Chilli crab sauce burgers (from S$8.95).

In collaboration with the household seafood brand Jumbo Seafood, the burger features its signature chilli crab sauce, but reimagined with a McDonald’s twist. Joining the line-up are Kampung drumlets (from S$3.35), iced Dinosaur (from S$4.15), and a nostalgic chendol soft-serve (from S$1.30), that’s available for a limited time only, from July 10.

Here’s everything you need to know about McDonald’s Singapore’s SG60 menu.

4. KFC

Here’s another chilli crab special for chicken lovers. In celebration of SG60, KFC is launching its chilli crab mantou series that’ll be here from Jul 23 to Sep 2.

Fried chicken fans can look forward to the chilli crab mantou Zinger (from S$7.95), featuring KFC’s signature Zinger patty coated in chilli crab sauce and sandwiched between crispy fried mantou buns. There’s also the chilli crab chicken (from S$9.70), which pairs hot & crispy chicken with rich chilli crab sauce and mini mantous on the side.

Besides the signature chicken, the popular ondeh ondeh egg tart (S$2.50) is also making a return — perfect for a sweet finish to your meal.

5. Chagee

If you’re a huge Chagee fan like I am, here’s a new drop you won’t want to miss. As part of its Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland collaboration, Chagee is introducing a new earl grey flavour to its collection.

Choose between the earl grey milk tea (S$5.20), made with Ceylon black tea from Dimbula, Sri Lanka, or the earl grey black tea (S$4.50), which is just as fragrant. Both drinks are available hot or iced, and come in exclusive Alice-themed cups and takeaway bags.

It’s a limited-time release, so if you need your earl grey fix (or want to snag its collectible blind-box keychains and tags), better hop over soon.

Here’s something a little more indulgent to look forward to. Si Chuan Dou Hua has launched a new a la carte dim sum buffet, featuring over 50 dishes to choose from.

Highlights include the crab meat and vegetable dumpling and radish puff pastry, and for spice lovers, the comforting hot and sour soup and punchy “Chong Qing” diced chicken with dried chilli. And of course, no dim sum feast is complete without desserts. Expect classics such as chilled mango sago, homemade beancurd with sugar syrup, and more.

The buffet is available every Friday, weekends, and public holidays from 11.30am to 2.30pm, priced at S$68 for adults and S$34 for children. The promotion runs till Aug 31, so plan your visit soon.

Check out what we loved at this all-you-can-eat dim sum buffet.
