Creamy mushroom burger back at McDonald’s Singapore with Minecraft blind boxes & cotton candy McFlurry

McDonald’s Singapore has been on a roll this year with delivering nostalgia.
First, we saw the McGriddles make a comeback, then the nasi lemak burger, and now, it’s the creamy mushroom cheeseburger’s turn!
The beloved fast-food giant has just announced that it will be returning on Mar 27 at all outlets, as part of a series of special meals to celebrate the upcoming Minecraft Movie.
Creamy mushroom and cotton candy
If you haven’t had it before, the cult-classic burgers come stacked up with beef patties and juicy grilled mushrooms, and are finished with black pepper mayo for extra oomph.
Diners have a choice of either the creamy mushroom double cheeseburger (from S$13.35 with the Minecraft meal) or creamy mushroom triple cheeseburger (from S$15.25 with the Minecraft meal), if you need something heftier.
The burgers are two of the 12 main options available for the McDonald’s Minecraft movie meals!

The McDonald’s Minecraft movie meals come with one main, smoky BBQ McShaker fries (large), Coke and one limited-edition Minecraft blind box with a collectible inside.
Besides the returning burgers, other mains include staples such as McSpicy, double cheeseburger and the recently released curry nuggets.
On top of that, McDonald’s Singapore is also rolling out a line of all-new cotton candy desserts with striking baby-blue ice cream.

These are available in three forms: Cotton candy hot fudge sundae (from $2.70), cotton candy Oreo McFlurry (from $3.60) and cotton candy cone (from $1.30).
If you need a thirst quencher, McDonald’s is also launching a tangerine freeze (S$5.50) at the same time for citrusy and tangy accompaniment to the meal.

Sharp-eyed blind box fans might also have noticed we mentioned blind boxes earlier.
Yes, that’s right! If queueing at Pop Mart for Labubu and Crybaby isn’t enough, there’s something new to look forward to: McDonald’s x Minecraft blind boxes!
There will be a total of six limited-edition blind box collectibles available from this collaboration.
This adorable set of six feature McDonald’s characters and dishes reimagined in Minecraft’s iconic blocky style, such as the Big Mac in block form and the game’s zombie masquerading as the Hamburglar.

There’s also swag for the kiddies, too — 10 unique Minecraft Happy Meal toys will be up for grabs, with two new designs released each week over five weeks:
- Mar 27 to Apr 2: Creeper/Bedrock Block and Creeper
- Apr 3 to 9: Evoker/Diamond Block and Steve
- Apr 10 to 16: Pink Sheep/Pink Wool Block
- Apr 17 to 23: Bee/Gold Block and Brown Sheep
- Apr 24 to 30: Skeleton/Grass Block and Llama
Even if you’re not a fan of blind boxes — or Minecraft — the returning creamy mushroom burger and the eye-catching desserts are great excuses to pop by, too!
