KFC Pocketts are back for a limited-time, with an all-new flavour

For those who have been looking forward to the return of KFC’s Pocketts: It’s back for a limited-time only in three flavours, which includes a new spicy variation.
If you haven’t had a Pockett yourself, it’s the fast-food chain’s take on Mexican-style wraps, which comprise its signature Zinger fillet wrapped in a nine-inch toasted tortilla — similar to KFC’s OG Bandito Pocket.
These will be available from today (February 19) to April 1, and come in three flavours: Barbecue, cheesy and the brand new spicy tropical.
Trying out KFC Pocketts

We started off with the classic BBQ Pockett (from S$7.45), which is a familiar flavour if you’ve always been a follower of KFC Pocketts.
We can definitely see why this is well-loved — the Zinger fillet was succulent and juicy, paired with a sweet-and-tangy barbecue sauce that’s simply satisfying. There’s even BBQ tortilla chips nestled within for that added crunch!

If you’re a cheese lover, there’s the cheesy Pockett (from S$7.95), which instead features KFC’s signature cheese sauce, sliced cheese, mayonnaise, and lettuce.

New this year is the spicy tropical Pockett (from S$7.95) that comprises two types of cheese — mozzarella and cheddar — as well as crunchy tortilla chips and a tangy mango habanero sauce. Rather than the signature Zinger, you’ll find a hot & crispy Zinger nestled within.
This Pockett packs quite a punch with the citrusy, mildly sweet-and-spicy mango sauce, which is a more vibrant take on the usual Pockett variants.
By the time we dug in, though, the chips within had turned soggy. But we believe it would give a good crunch to the overall texture, if eaten piping hot.
As with any KFC meal, you can also get them as individual meals (from S$8.80), box meals (from S$11.80), or buddy meals (from S$22.45).
The trio of Pocketts will be available for dine-in and takeaway at all KFC outlets, except at KFC Sentosa and KFC Singapore Zoo.
Lychee mochi egg tart

For those with a sweet tooth, you can get your sugary treat with KFC’s new lychee mochi egg tart (S$2.40), which comes with a lychee-flavoured chewy mochi and lychee custard in a flaky egg tart shell — this is available for dine-in and takeaway at selected KFC outlets.
