If you’re looking for things to do this weekend, Burger King’s two-day-only food truck pop-up at Suntec City should be on your radar.

It runs from today (April 11) until tomorrow, from 11am to 8pm, and the fast-food chain has some exciting treats up its sleeve.

As part of this special event, customers who spend a minimum of S$20 in a single receipt, as long as it includes at least one Whopper burger, at any Burger King outlet, can redeem an adorably exclusive plushie, “served” up Jellycat-style.

You might have seen videos on social media of the Jellycat experience — a limited-time pop-up where food-themed plushies are “cooked” and wrapped up, just like actual food.

Here, step up to Burger King’s food truck to watch your server “sizzle” and pack up a burger plushie for you to “tapau”!

You can also take part in interactive games such as “Whopper Mix and Match” and “The Whopper Catch” for a chance to win attractive Burger King vouchers — such as a free upsize on your meal!

Feeling competitive? Try the “Yummy Challenge” — the first 20 people to finish a Whopper burger in under 60 seconds will win more vouchers!

Check out the all-new chicken and classic beef Whopper

All these festivities are in conjunction with Burger King’s new limited-time offering: The chicken Whopper.

It features the same build as the classic beef Whopper — fresh tomatoes, onions, pickles, lettuce, creamy mayonnaise, and ketchup, all layered between soft, five-inch glazed buns — but swaps out the flame-grilled beef patty for a chicken alternative.

According to the fast-food giant, the new burger aligns with its focus on premium ingredients and health-conscious choices. Both are free from preservatives, artificial colouring, MSG, and additives, to offer diners a clean bites without compromising on flavour.

To us, the beef Whopper burger is still No. 1 in our books, with a juicy patty that melts into your mouth. But we still polished off every bit of the new chicken Whopper, so that comes as a pretty close second.

There’s even more to love: From now until May 4, you can enjoy either the beef or chicken Whopper meals — that come with a regular fries and drink — at just S$6.95 (U.P S$9.45).

With just two days to catch this exclusive event, Burger King’s food truck is set to draw crowds looking for fun, freebies, and of course, their flame-grilled burgers.

Don’t miss out — grab a Whopper, spend S$20, and head down to redeem your plushie and join the fun!

This was an invited tasting.
