You and your bestie are starving and scrolling for a snack on Grab’s delivery app. Suddenly, a pizza throws a fit. A sushi roll spirals. Why? Because The Grab Sale is here, and the deals are just too good to be true.

From now till May 30, The Grab Sale is dishing out furious food and even angrier savings.

Think 1-for-1 deals on items such as sushi rolls, laksa and bubble teas — plus up to 40% off your favourite snacks and essentials. The deals are so good, your dinner might just come with a side of attitude.

Whether you’re ordering with a friend or treating yourself twice, these promos are designed to stir up a little drama (and a lot of cravings).

We’re spotlighting deals that are guaranteed to cause a meltdown, with the foods flipping out as they get doubled up or deeply discounted.

So go on, order now. The food may be furious, but we’re not sorry at all.

1. Domino’s Pizza

This isn’t just any pizza. It’s Domino’s Pizza’s value-for-money 1-for-1 GrabFood deal, which gives you two large pizzas for the price of one (S$34.90 for one large pizza). The pizzas on offer such as Domino’s Hawaiian Paradise, Classified chicken and very veggie are hopping mad because they feel they should be sold at a premium.

But it’s good news for us because we get not just one, but two pizzas for a steal, with The Grab Sale, with so many flavours on offer, too! They have every right to be mad, but we’re still tapping “add to cart”, and hosting a pizza party for our buddies.

Popular Food’s fish fillet + teriyaki chicken bento (S$8.60 for one) was packed with pride, armed with a crunchy fish fillet on one side, and savoury teriyaki chicken on the other. It most definitely did not see this 1-for-1 deal coming, and is simply steaming at being sold for such an affordable price.

Served with rice, greens and a dash of disbelief, the meal is perfect for those who can’t decide between meat or fish. The only thing it’s missing? A warning label for how low the price is now that it is 1-for-1.

3. Collin’s

The crispy golden fish at Collin’s is losing its mind over this deal. One plate on discount, sure. But two plates for the price of one? We can see how that’ll trigger a full-blown food tantrum.

Perfect for a bestie lunch or family dinner, Collin’s 1-for-1 fish & chips deal (S$24 for one) gives you delicious fish, straight-cut fries and tartar sauce — times two. The only thing upsetting here is the fish because we’re downright delighted.

4. I Love Taimei

We all love Taimei, and we love it even more now that it’s part of The Grab Sale. Its Yakult series (S$5.90 for one) is now going for 1-for-1, and the cups are bubbling with fury.

Its flavours such as passion Yakult green tea and lychee Yakult green tea are sweet, well-balanced and perfect for a hot day. While the bubble teas look refreshing and calm on the outside, we can guarantee they are raging within, but hey as long as they taste good, right?

5. The Soup Spoon

One of The Soup Spoon’s signatures, the meatless minestrone (S$8.50 for one) was made to nourish. Now it’s stewing, over the fact that it’s being handed out 1-for-1.

Packed with pasta, vegetables and herby tomato goodness, this hearty soup is the hug you didn’t know you needed. It tastes even better now that it’s two for the price of one! Share it with someone who appreciates angry yet affordable comfort food.

6. Drinkies

This beer may be chilled, but it is anything but chill. With a promotional price of 30% off any two Tiger Lager 6s at $29.54 (U.P. $42.20), we can completely see why. The Tiger Lager 6-pack was already a great fridge staple, but now it’s discounted and forced to be sold as a duo.

Best served cold, and consumed with a mate — so check out those beers and let the pints sulk together, just like you do when your favourite football team loses.

7. Watsons

The Helaslim bottles from Watsons are shaking with rage. The Helaslim Uruhime Momoko Ceramide + Collagen Supplement 30s at $35.56 (U.P. $50.80) is one of its most popular skin moisturising supplements from Japan, and now, they are going for 30% off!

The supplements contain ceramide extracted from Japanese rice extract, and are meant to help improve skin firmness and elasticity.  With all that hype, we see why they’re not happy about being sold at such a steal. You, however, will be very happy about your flawless complexion.

8. GrabMart Grocer

The chips are salty and the dips are sulking because they’re all at 30% off and headed to your door.

Choose from assorted chips brands such as Lay’s at $3.75 (U.P. $5.35), Red Rock at $4.39 (U.P. $6.27) and Kettle at $3.99 (U.P. $5.70) — whichever your choice, they’re all perfect for a movie night or post-work rage snacking.

Just don’t blame us if you devour the whole packet within one night. With deals like that, we can see why both your diet plan and the snacks are so furious.

9. The Ice Cream Store

These pints were the icons of the freezer. Now they’re simply livid at being sold so cheaply. How cheap you ask? The Grab Sale’s Ben & Jerry’s Awesome Foursome deal at $36.48 (U.P. S$60.80)  gives you four Ben & Jerry’s pints at 40% off in total.

Choose from flavours such as the classic chocolate fudge brownie, marshmallow & s’mores, the new Spectacu-love featuring caramelised cookie chunks, or crowd-favourite chocolate chip cookie dough, all for a fraction of the original price.

Keep them cold because they’re still hot with rage.

10. Cheers & FairPrice Xpress

The Jinro Green Grape Soju just got served at 40% off for two bottles at $20.16 (U.P. S$33.60) , and it’s not taking the price cut gracefully.

Sweet, fruity and low-alcohol, it’s a great accompaniment to any K-drama night in. At 40% off for two bottles, we suspect it will be sobbing and raging just like those melodramatic K-drama characters.
