50 Best Bars 2026 announced: Three Singapore bars have made it into the world’s top 100

Have travel plans for the rest of the year, and love visiting bars? The newly released 50 Best Bars 2026 rankings are exactly what you need to inform your overseas bar hops.

The award started in 2009 and highlights the best bars in the world. It’s just undergone a rename, shortened from the original “World’s 50 Best Bars” brand.

This 2026 ceremony for 50 Best Bars was held in Milan at Palazzo del Ghiaccio, an ice rink and multi-purpose event space.

Two Singapore bars listed in 50 Best Bars 2026

According to 50 Best Bars 2026, the best bar in the world is Bar Leone from Hong Kong, which keeps its place at the top of the podium, having also clinched No. 1 in 2025.

Two Singapore bars made it into the 50 Best Bars 2026 list, the same as 2025.

As expected, one of the bars that made Singapore proud is Jigger & Pony — the perennial top dog that’s also No. 9 on this year’s Asia’s 50 Best Bars — coming in at No. 18.

Then, placed at No. 38 is Nutmeg & Clove, a beloved bar that incorporates local flavours into cocktails and also No. 12 on the Asia rankings.

Hong Kong, New York, and Paris are the cities with the most bars represented on the 50 Best Bars 2026 list, with four each:

While the name suggests a ranking of only 50 bars, the award has an extended list that goes up to No. 100.

It’s on this extended list that we see Offtrack, another popular Singapore bar, joining the list at No. 89.
